It says were going to break even, which leads me to believe that only a minor chunk of the £72m cash injection will be used for the debts. Maybe £10m for the debt, £12m for the stadium upgrade (according to Juventus), which leaves us with £50m for transfers, not including sales of players.

Juventus 104.8 mln eur capital increase runs May 28 - June 15

The recapitalisation, aimed at relaunching the club and cutting its debt, is guaranteed by HVB Group AG, Banca IMI SpA, and Banca del Piemonte SpA.

IFIL SpA, which has a 60 pct stake, and Libyan Arab Investments Company SA, which has 7.5 pct, will subscribe pro rata to the recapitalisation.

The company will be offering two new shares for every three held, priced at 1.30 eur each. Shares in Juventus were traded today at around 1.84 eur.

Juventus Football Club SpA said that its 104.8 mln eur capital hike will run from May 28 to June 15, while rights to subscribe to the capital increase will be traded between May 28 and June 8.

The shares are going crazy in the last days. They rose 8 percent after the resignation of coach Didier Deschamps.

    It's gotta be Lippi speculation.

As soon as they realize Lippi isn't playing coy with his sabattical, it will go in the toilet again.

Doesn't matter unless we try to sell more shares of the company to raise more cash though.

and a majority of that 50 mill will go towards great champions like mesto, bianchi and iaquinta, any change left over, the fat cats will pocket for themselves :disagree:

I, for one, would like to buy a share just for the sake of it. Don't really care if the price would rise or lower in that sense (but of course I want them to go up for the benefit of Juventus).

But I'm not really sure where I can buy a share(s) in Juventus when I'm in Iceland.

I think you can buy shares whereever you are. There are however rules of how to do so, I think u can consult your local broker or bank portfolios.

You can.. But as said before, you have to have a portfolio in a bank that has international broker or international stock trading facility. Some banks even offer online trading.
Some banks require that you a certain capital in your chequing account or they require a certain amount to be deposited in your trading account to initiat it.
Best thing is to contact your bank to do so.

    League: Serie B, Italy
    www.juventus.com

Founded by Turin high school students, Juventus was turned into the most successful team in Italy by the Agnelli family fortune. In one 15 year spell (1972 to 1986), Juventus won all of the most important international competitions, a feat matched only by Ajax. Juve and Internazionale were the only clubs never to have been relegated from Serie A since the league's formation in 1930 — until this season when Juve was demoted to Serie B in punishment for match fixing. Listed on the Milan bourse in 2001, Juventus is developing itself as a media and leisure business.

    Who's Hot And Who's Not

#1) Alessandro Del Piero – Hot

    Earnings: $13.2 million, £7.2 million, €10.5 million
    Juventus
The 32-year-old Juventus captain has gained hero status in Turin by returning for his 14th season with the Old Lady, even though the club was demoted to Serie B of Italy’s league at the beginning of this season following a match-fixing scandal that triggered an exodus of big names. Del Piero has played with youthful exuberance, leading his club into position for promotion back to Serie A next season. He also happens to have published an autobiography telling his story through a series of Top 10 lists, helping him to No. 1 on our list.
