Allegri is a tremendous blessing for our books :touched:
No doubt. And we've 'earned' our way to the top and this is the breakthrough we desperately needed.
Unlike teams like Arsenal and Liverpool who get massive money just by virtue of being in the PL while winning shit all.

And these are the benefits you enjoy of being in an attractive league.
We need teams like Milan and co. to improve as that would only mean that our growth gets more rapid. We need to overcome the drawback of Serie A

Not really, what we need is a couple more successful seasons in the CL to get more plastic fans and boost our commercial revenue. It would be even better if the other Italian teams keep failing in the CL. We also need to keep winning Serie A. Milan and co improving wouldn't help with that.

it will help in the broadcasting revenues, when the league is more competitive.

but in the other hand CL get divided to the clubs who are participating in the competition, so if they keep sucking and we perform in cl that mean more cl money for us.

Bayern is pretty seriously held back on tv money compared to spain

Quite simply : they dont have their own classico there

The BPL is overdoing it by having too much title contenders. What you need is 3 teams that go for it.

Preferably, we'd have juventus +1 milaneese team +1 romean team.

The thing which Serie A has which they don't have in England, Germany or Spain is that we have six or seven teams which carry a decent reputation for being a relatively big club in the eyes of Europe and the world.

Juventus, Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Napoli and even teams like Parma *a single tear* and Palermo are respected internationally and this is regardless of how well they are doing in European competition. If Serie A in general can get its shit together with new stadiums etc this league has enormous potential. As usual we are trailblazing both in terms of modernisation of the club and in terms of international appeal through results in Europe.

Incidentally I agree with your sentiment about not having too many teams regularly competing, the point I was making was for the potential for depth in appeal throughout the league.

agnelli will have a press conference tomorrow in which he'll talk about a new strategy and calciopoli.

92 mils, that means how much profit in this year?

Correct! Very good point. The only but here, is the fact that these almost-top teams in Italy will sell their star players to mid table teams in the PL. IMO AS Roma is a much bigger club than Tottenham, yet a prolific player like Lamela is sold to Tottenham from Roma. And this is worrying. Financially Serie A is a lot of years behind, and the only way the PL gap can be shortened is by allowing foreign investors to enter the scene of italian football. The fact that there are so many "patrons" in Italy hinders the league from improving because these patrons can't/won't compete with foreign investors. Look at Fiorentina for instance; their fans must be heart broken by their spending power..

Berlusconi just sold 48% Milan share to a Thai called Mr Bee. This is a necessity if Milan wants to get back in the near future!

Surely the biggest difference is in the tv revenue. Serie A's income in that respect will improve along with the international appeal of the league. Building new stadiums is indeed a crucial step and while I'll miss the old school feel of the stadiums we have now I'm glad the rest of the league are building new ones.
