Not so long injuries. This season has been special.
Reminds me when before Conte took over. THOSE days were bad for injuries. (Zebina, IQ, Camo, Andrade, DC, even Chiellini & Buffon (back problems).

I know I'm missing names. Man, those days were horrible for injuries.

I know what you are saying and I feel the same. I mean Barzagli, I don't even know what he is injured for, we just know he is injured.

Pepe, what was his original injury and what is he suffering now, regardless of how unimportant he is, it's just confusing.

What is Romulo's injury?

What is Caceres'?

Barzagli has a hurt heal/ankel I think.

Caceres had a knee issue at first then muscular

Pepe's right leg fell off and was glued back together. (Latest Juve report we are waiting for the glue to dry)

Romulo I think was also muscular.

Asamoah knee surgery.

Barzagli & Caceres are back training with the team though but no way are they in position to play a full game. Fitness will take some time to get back.

Watch us rush them to play and send them back to the doctors.

If we are already fucked for the season, then we may as well give it a shot. :D

Asamoah should be back in March from what I hear, God help us until then. (not saying Asa a savior but he adds more than Evra)

As you said a minute ago, he won't be match fit when he comes back.

I'd be willing to risk one of Barzagli or Caceres to try and get some solidarity at the backline
In the last 10 SerieA matches, we only have 4 goals against us, don't think the defence is the biggest problem.
We need one or two players that are able to crack the wall that we face every week.

Us leaking goals isn't the problem, we have the tightest goals against in the league. It's when our defense starts looking fragile or nervous the rest of the team sorta scrambles in a similar fashion. I really think its a psychological issue.

Our defence has looked nervous for 3 seasons now, yet we always managed to outscore the opposition, but this season, only Tevez is able to bring something extra, Vidal lost his, form, Pogba wants to do it all alone and Pirlo isn't getting any younger.
Then on top of that, the injuries from a player like Asamoah, who also attacking wise offered something extra are really what is causing the lost points in matches we won the last few seasons.
I really think we need more attacking options, proven attacking options not some young guns that hopefully are good.
But don't know if the financial situation allows proven options.

True.
But it's connected to being unable to finish off opponents. When we do the defense is very good. We missed too many chances against Napoli and merda which backfired. It happens, the defense is not the problem. Our biggest problem is no rotation in midfield as well as shitty form of forwards bar Tevez.

Good points

And not being able to finish off the game ultimately puts the pressure on the defense to not concede. That's why I think its a psychological issue.

psychological - yeah I agree but not personal. In fact if we used Marchisio as DM in Pirlo's place we'd be much better looking there IMO. Pirlo is fantastic at what he does but he really leaves a huge hole in front of our CBs.

Agreed. I'd love to have Cheesio back in that role again. Love Pirlo too but perhaps its time to seek greener pastures.

Financially, do we have to sell Pogba?
No but if other teams come and offer him over the 6m we're giving him it's the end. We can't give him more than what we do.
So if the big offert come he is going.

But unlike other teams we can say NO to shitty offers. We're like Tottenham with Gareth Bale. We already spoke with Pogba and Raiola and that's why he renewed with us till 2019. Juventus prolly told them "Paul we won't put chains on you but the big one has to come for you to go. You're so young but don't worry a bigger team will pick you so don't hurry and develope"
