The scenario as you put it down is virtually impossible :undecide: It is neither illegal nor against human rights to refuse foreign labour forces entry or permits.
TBH, I'm not sure of the argument he made, but that is what happened.

Is that so? When was this? And who was the player, what club etc?
Yes it is. It was 5-6 years ago maybe, and all I know is that the player as Nigerian AFAIR, I cant tell you any more.

Hey guys I'm still confused here about the whole non-EU players, coz I think we have more than 4 non-EU players.

Montero, Emerson, Appiah, Zalayeta, Tudor, Olivera,

and ok may b montero has a spanish passport, but does that make him EU player? He still plays for his country. And does it include all the players at the club including the young players?

and obviously we haven't transfered any non-EU from abroad unless u consider Olivera's return. So what's the deal?

Appiah, Tudor, Olivera, Emerson, Nedved maybe?

Like I said, there was talk that players from the Czech republic wouldnt get EU status until 2006, I'm not sure if thats true or not.

Zalayeta and Montero have Spanish passports.

Mate, allow me to applaud you :thumb:
    (takes a bow)

But I don't get this, if Salas counts a a non EU spot, and he is on loan, how can we sign Mutu by sending him on loan?

I always thought that Salas was good, but with DP, Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic and Mutu all at the club he is completely useless.

Well then one of the 5 with one EU passport you listed above must have second passport or something....Isnt Nedved considered EU cuz he is Czech? I read it somewhere in this forum that Czech's are considered EU even though Czech republic is not in the EU?? man this is confusing, isnt there some kind of lawyer here that could explain all this shit?

No, the Czech Republic isn't regarded as an EU country in football until 2006 or something isn't it? :undecide:
