Sorry for dragging your name into the partition business but you did try to stir shit up even if that wasn't your intention.
But none of this changes what a complete mess Pakistan is. Maybe you enjoyed the intellectual exercise and that makes you feel better about yourself, but that still doesn't alter how f*ed up things are for Pakistan. Being declared "in the right" is a loser's game on that stage.

It's like debating over how how someone was right about the improved paint job and interior decorating inside the Treblinka gas chambers. No spit polish shine on history, decisions, who's fault was what makes that go away. Which goes back to Deneb's original point, which you sort of used as an opportunity to soapbox the past, even though it wasn't either of our intentions to go there.

That's like trying to have an honest conversation with a black person and he always tries to bring up slavery in the conversation. :sergio: Or more to the theme of these forums, like AC wondering why he always gets into these religious flame wars here. Lay easy on the itchy trigger-finger, Ze, and you might find that not everybody wants to be your asshole nightmare picking fights about Pakistan's history.

For your information, it was you who brought up history. So you were asking for a history lesson. One which you have no response to because you know jack shit about it.

2nd, Deneb made a claim that India is superior to Pakistan in every way, which is a bullshit claim, one which doesn't take anything in the current or in the past into account (I did respond to his claim in my post btw if you bothered to read it). I know a lot of people there who are trying to do a lot of good things and it takes a lot of sacrifice...so when some dolt walks by and makes a childish and insensitive comment that is bound to piss someone off. Even if he believes it to be true...you wouldn't walk into a hospital and yell 'you're all dying', would you? Not very classy.

Please let me know when you are finished with your soapbox of historical conspiracy theories, Ze, and I will rejoin the conversation.

Until then, you clearly have an agenda to rail on that's not my issue nor concern here. Not to mention I don't take kindly to people who want to spew insults like a lawn sprinkler for no constructive purpose.

More from Tahir's neighborhood :D

"In a move reminiscent of George Carlin's Seven Words You Can Never Say on TV, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has handed down a ban on about 1,600 terms and phrases it has deemed obscene and told carriers they have seven days to block the words on their networks, or face legal action. 'The filtering is not good for the system and may degrade the quality of network services — plus it would be a great inconvenience to our subscribers if their SMS was not delivered due to the wrong choice of words,' says an official at a one of the telecoms. The list includes such words and phrases as 'idiot,' 'monkey crotch,' 'athlete's foot,' 'damn,' 'deeper,' 'four twenty,' 'fornicate,' 'looser,' and 'go to hell,' among others. There are also various double entendres included in the ban such as 'beat your meat' or 'flogging the dolphin.' Mohammad Younis, a spokesman for the PTA, says the ban is 'the result of numerous meetings and consultations with stakeholders' after consumers complained of receiving offensive text messages. 'Nobody would like this happening to their young boy or girl.'"

I would've made the same point regardless of where it happened. It's a lame excuse to filter words in SMS's.
