I'm really interested to know since when U DP haters follow football...

If it is a matter of 2-3 year then OK u have every right to crtisize DP saying he is not a world class player, lack consistency, injury prone and and.....

But if u had followed football for a longer time u would know why Moggi keep faith in him for 11 year and why he is the 2nd top scorer in Juve's history and why Marddona and Ronaldo and Lippi consider him a legendary player....

Sell DP to the destination u like, but I will make u sure Moggi won't sell him...

He should reduce his salary, play when the team need him and sit on the bench when not, wear this jersey until he quit football and then u don't have to watch his retirment game if this make u feel better....

Capello defends Alex axe Monday 24 January, 2005

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fabio Capello has brushed aside criticism from the Juventus fans for his decision to not use Alex Del Piero on Sunday.

The club captain was left on the bench for the entire Brescia win, which led to chants in favour of Del Piero and Marcello Lippi, Capello’s predecessor in Turin, from the Delle Alpi faithful.

"Whoever pays for a ticket has the right to chant for whoever they want," stated Capello. "I just have to do my job and make decisions.

"I chose to start with David Trezeguet but Alex is important for us and he will be given his chance. When Del Piero’s moment arrives, then he will play."

Juventus are now five points clear of Milan in the Scudetto race after the Rossoneri lost 1-0 at Livorno.

"We gave very little away while we created five or six very good chances," added Capello after the 2-0 victory.

"I liked how the team played. I had said that the squad was in good physical shape and we demonstrated that."

However, there could be some bad news for the Bianconeri after Pavel Nedved picked up a knee problem.

"We’re a bit worried about him because he was in great pain," said Capello. "The hope is that he will be feeling a lot better on Monday even if we are not sure how serious the injury is."
