See I wouldn't mind a job where I have to translate stuff for people. I can speak Urdu and Swedish fluently, but there are no temporary jobs offerings.

I can't do the one in Afghanistan because I don't speak Pashto or Dari and I don't want to get killed :D

I was listening to the radio the other day and people were talking about high paying odd/unknown jobs. This girl said she gets $50k/year to house sit for this couple that lives in Japan. This guy said he gets payed some ridiculous amount to drive purchased vehicles to people's homes. I wish I could tap into one of those jobs.

Or I think I'll just bum this summer if I get fired because next year I'll have graduated and I'll start working as a flight instructor which will finally lead me to a carrier with an airline.

It just sucks that all my money will go towards fixing my car and paying a debt. Then I'll have to find a way to fund a trip to Pakistan and India this winter break. :depressed

Why do all part-time jobs suck so much? I've worked in a range of places ever since 10th grade; KFC, Blockbuster, a dry cleaners, and Radioshack. They all pay you pebbles and they treat you like crap.

Back in High School, it was 'ok' because all you needed was allowance money basically. To buy things like shoes, clothes, mp3 players, etc. In College though, you have other shit to worry about. Things like cell phones bills, gas, car repairs, books, debts, loans, etc. etc.

With all this crap to pay for, I can never seem to save up any money. I finally got a job that pays really really well and I'm 80% sure I'm going to lose it.

Summers go by and I get to save zilch! Is this curse just on me?

Also, do any of you know of high paying part-time jobs?
    That's the flippin' problem...

    BING BONG!

    Someone won a CAR!
Well, turns out my brother's cousin (through his wife's side) just won $50,000 and the title of Miss Hooters International this week:

And yes, her name is really "Sara Hoots" of all ridiculous things. (She's the one with the crown in the middle, obviously.)

So Zé T -- I'm telling ya, what do you look like in short-shorts and a halter top? And can you take orders for buffalo wings?

Sounds like you may not have a place to work for long.
