The thing is before Hoori saying she's the detective, she wasn't in the spotlight nor had the majority of votes against her so I doubt it was to protect herself, unless she and Cheese are both G's. But in that case it would still be stupid to sacrifice herself (being an experimented player and all) to help Cheese (who is new to the game, let alone being a gangster).

Lets say this..

If we trust Hoori this one time. If we vote out Fred and he actually is the crooked cop we would know that Hoori is speaking the truth.

If Fred turns out to be a civilian - That would lead Hoori to one thing only. LYNCHING.

Should we trust her or not?
Finally someone is making sense. I'm telling you that I'm the detective, ok? Fred is the crooked cop, I were never gonna take such risk if I were a G.

Personal reasons

Wow, please, come to think of it. The real D is seeing how I'm saving a G by lying and he keeps being silent? If there is another D he/she must know that he/she has already spotted two Gs, one is me who is lying, the other is Cheese who I saved. He/she would have surely interfered.

Anyone with half brain would believe me and vote Fred.
1) The real D might not be online.

2) The real D wants to stay alive.

3) There is still a lot of voting to be done so you may not be saving a G at all and the D's intervention may not be necessary. And Cheese could be a C, to make you believable after this round but you may just want Fred dead.

4) You may be very well be the D, but your rashness is uncharacteristic and very suspicious.

Definitely.

In the previous game it turned out bad for the Cs because I killed both the D and the Bodyguard. But if the bodyguard won't reveal his role, then it's worth it to trade a G for a C, even if it's a special role.
If Fred isn't a G then Hoori will be lynched and Civilians will earn more. Cs are 15 and Gs are 5. If Fred is a G then we have advantage.

The bodyguard should protect Hoori in any case, no matter if she's lying to us or telling us the truth. But the bodyguard MUST NOT reveal his role to Hoori or anyone else.

Maybe the crooked cop (not saying it's Hoori) investigated Fred and found out he has a special role. The detective is the C's best weapon, Hoori could be sacrificing herself to get us to take out Fred (while they whack another C) early in the game.

I think Cheese is the best choice for lynching now. If he is a C, then we lose one C which is normal for the first round. But if he is a G, we know he's been collaborating with Hoori and we uncover another G without risking lynching her, the possible detective.

Thats something me and a certain someone (He knows who he is) agreed on the last game. I said I was the bodyguard and I saved Matthew the same day. I was wacked by the mafia but thats the risk I had to take. The question is, why are you taking this risk? You know that the Mafia will come after you, IF you are the detective?

Maybe she hopes for a smarter bodyguard than you?

1) If I were a G, I would never be going to risk my life on such a rare possibility.

2) It's not about wanting to be alive. If there was a real D, he must have interfered seeing how a G is influencing the votes and saving her teammate.

3) So why am I taking such risk? I know you are going to know my role tonight, what's the point of sacrificing myself only to kill one civilian?

4) I rush because I think Gs will come to kill me tonight. They can't now anymore.
