I voted for Ronaldo and Trezeguet.
:touched:

I'd like to vote for Trezeguet but as far as finishers go, It doesn't get any better than Shearer or Batistuta IMO, both scored like over 250 club goals, we can't forget Ronaldo also.

I have to admit I´m a little bit biased here cause Inzaghi, Batistuta and RVN are all close to each other but I had to give a vote to our legend.....he has an impressive goal ratio after all.

Shearer :yuck:, never liked that bastard. :D

P.S. Luca Toni should be in that thread and how could you all forget Mario Jardel? Look at this:

1990-1994 Vasco de Gama 39 apps, 22 goals
1995-1996 Gremio 73 apps, 67 goals
1996-2000 Porto 125 apps, 130 goals
2000-2001 Galatasaray 24 apps, 22 goals
2001-2003 Sporting 49 apps, 53 goals

True that, one of the most impressive ratios.

Jardel never really kicked it off on the big stage, though he was deadly for Porto.

And Luca Toni my ass. :disagree:

DP doesn't get my vote because he is a s much a goal-creater as a goal-scorer whereas guys like Trez and Batistuta do very little other than score goals and that is what the are great at.

Batistuta, Ronaldo, Trez, Romario for me in that order.

ronaldo pre-injury was different class no matter what anyone thinks

trezeguet is one of teh most natural finishers i have ever seen, forget current form the man is a goal machine

however, teh main reason i got hooked on calcio was a phenominal goal scorer by the name of batistuta
sure, i became a Juve fan but batigol was a special player

i've vote for Ronaldo, 'cause at the and of the 90's he was the best attacker in the world, now he sucks 'cause he is fat and most of al .. he is a ac milan player..

I went for Batistuta, Klinsmann and Vieri.

fataldo could be best food finisher

Trezeguet is best finisher

I'm wondering can some of them even be called finishers. Players like Stoichkov, Baggio, were so much more than finishers, it'a almost unfair to pair them against the likes of Trez, Crespo, Inzaghi, RVN, etc.
Exactly, there is a difference between an attacker and a finisher or a striker. There are some names shouldn't have been added to that poll including Del Piero.

Another logical explanation here. I agree with it but with different choices, as I said above.
