Well, anyone who follows football, knows there has been a big scandal in Belgium over the past few months. It all evolves around a Chinese business man who goes by the name of Zheyun Ye. Teams and managers were bribed, so that people could bet on the right result.

I, for one, think it's a global problem. It still wouldn't surprise me to see something was wrong with WC 2002, albeit not a betting scandal. That doesn't take away that that tournament was fixed though.

As for the Belgian league, well, last weekend was yet another show of bizarre misses (the La Louvière one, Geof) and I'm simply not interested anymore.

Betting scandals has been going on for ages.
It's pretty much the first time on this scale though. Practically half of our competition was fixed last year.

Do you know that it is not being at the same scale in other leagues as well but no one has knew about it?

Have you thought that the same thing might have been going on in the CL and still no one is aware of it?

    Oh sure.

I actually meant it's the first time they're rolling such a big scandal up.

Thanks to him there's now somewhat new football stadium without a club in this town. Not that the club would be healthy currently if Ye would have stayed in Belgium (or China).

MIA Gregory Goffin and Kasim Yildiz :D

Rest of those Ye's / Suray's pawns have find their way back to Belgium, luckily. La Placa with even getting a three(?) year suspension.

I wonder how mr. Ye's businesses are going when it comes to wood industry  He said he was keen to do some business with local wood industry when he came to Finland. :center:

I feared such a thread had to come.

I would've posted it myself, but I was too lazy. This needs more than a few lines, but I guess most of the people here aren't interested and will just post shit like "it always happend and will always be"...

as for recent bizarre goals, seven, I don't believe that it is still corrupted, or at least, I hope it...

btw, I looked at the weirdest goals of the eerste klasse on sporza.be (especially Lierse and La Louviere of course) and it really looks dodgy.

I have no clue of how big this is. Sure a lot of matches were just bought, but to which extend? are big clubs included? no idea. And I wouldn't believe everything that has been said in the unfamous 'Panorama' documentary...

And what about you Fins? Venom? Erkka? how's Alliansi doing these days?
