Seriously..what are arab NTs missing to represent ? Apart from Egypt, North African teams to a certain level.

If we take today's game as an example, logically speaking Algeria players play abroad under good level of coaching and system, but when they get together, they are a big fat 0.

Slovenian papers on the other hand "with all do respect to them" called Algeria the weakest team at the WC!

i personally think the problems are different nation to nation. north african teams have talent but waste a lot of the hard work on getting involved in un-necessary physical interventions which ends up with a yellow card pile up and ends with a red card. to put it in simple words they need to learn discipline, it is the only thing needed to start making a difference.

the second form of problem is doing the impossible but then choking when these teams meet much easier teams. this applies to egypt which do great when the opponents are harder to beat. we also love to make it harder for our selves dont forget this point in particular. after wasting the chances to qualify with out having to go thru all the algeria saga we wasted it and even when we played algeria in cairo we wasted a lot of chances that could've sealed it in cairo.

thirdly, having players who play abroad is not the advantage a lot of people make it to be, in fact, if not used properly it back fires and this in particular is the problem with north african sides. just bec a player plays in england, belgium, spain etc etc does'nt mean u r granted a spot on the national side. dont convince me algeria, morocco, or tunisia dont have talented players who play in there domestic league.

until these are fixed i dont expect to see any improvement or advancement on the wc front.

thank you doctor 3al mudakhla. It just bugs, look at the gap we have with African teams when it comes to the WC. We might be very good to beat them at qualifying rounds, but when its time, we just lose it and simply dont show up to the occasion. While other african teams they play with a consistent level.
