Dude I love you!! I googled that khaled abdel rahman, and I found some dumbass I was looking to find his name for years. Rabeh Saker

Anyone know this fool? When I saw his clip, I laughed for days

me and my friends call him the gecko :p ..

to me, I've only got interested in Arabic music lately. All thanks to Fairuz! but when I come to see the contemporaries, I feel like all the good ones are one time wonders and they just lose it next! but it has to be said that the old style of Arabic music, with all the tabagat and makamat, sound much better!

Few contemporary songs I liked, Dina Hayik's "Leh 7andee3", Nancy's "Yasalam"and Elissa's "7obbak wja3".. I gotta admit Fadl Shakir's and Wail Kafoury's music stand out a bit but I have nothing in specific in mind right now!

and Khaliji music? puh-lease .. although I don't mind Talal Madda7 (RIP) or abu noura's older songs when he's singing in Hijazi dialect ..

What about Majida El Roumy? Wael Jassar? Wael Kfoure? Najwa Karam? You got some wondeful voices there man.
if fairouz is the queen, majida el roumy is the princess with out any doubt. her voice is solid, and she is very very classy!! its funny as a child i used to know her songs by heart its been a very long time since i've listened to her old stuff.

Wael Kfouri yejannen !! :D

And i met Kathem Al Saher a few weeks ago , stood there with my mouth open wide for five minutes;when i noticed everyone staring at me haha it was embarassing =p
i tried not once but several times to like kathem but he never clicked with me, yes some of his songs are great but he never clicked with me. i like only two songs for wael: the one with nawal :D and ana ray7 bokra 3al sheiesh

Om Kalthoum , Fairuz and Mohammed abdo .:delpiero: :delpiero: :delpiero:
ok om kalthom is great i cant argue against her but it needs in my opinion a certain mood and age. i've seen my dad listen to her and he is the happiest man alive!!! i personally dont get along with her, may be cos i prefer abd el halim songs they r lighter.

fairuz in my opinion is the best the arab world has seen, its a shame i started liking her recently when i finally gave it a chance. my mother has tried time and time to get me to enjoy her music ( my mum loves her alot!!). aliyaa stillr remains my favourite song for fairouz.

mohammed abdo never clicked with me, although my sister used to love his songs.

Tamer Hosny:yuck:, only 14years old teenagers would listen to this punk
Tamer is the biggest idiot in the universe. His fans are

thank you sooooooooo much, tamer is sorry for being rude but a homo!!! i hate his guts alot, i hate his attidue and i hate most importantly his girl fans!!! they r sooooooooooo annoying its unbelievable.

All those new generation ppl will never fit into our profile.

He uses a very similar style to 3amro, but I prefer 3amro to him.
thats very true yamen, i think its the same way our parents dont like amr diab for instance. its normal each generation thinks the one after it is horrible and so on

I think he 1st song in 1997 was her lying in a bed wearing the bed cover that was backless, when nobody else was yet to do such a thing..then came this so called "Art" revolution that was all about getting nude in front of TV.

Fadel shaker IMO is the best Arabian singer, his voice is just amazing especially that sad tone.
fadel is class!!

when it comes to Arabic music the one and only is Fairuz. Her songs never get old.
perfectly true!!

As for Abd Al-Halim , I really love this song :

You can't because they are all good. I love this women to death. With all due to respect to Om kalthom fans, Fiaroz is the greates Arab singer ever. When I hear her music I get this special feeling that makes me forget all my problem I had during the day. Her music makes me fly away to a zone that I want to be forever. Alla ye7melna yeha

That Fawaz guy is great.

I love to talk to him and his mind is so dirty. I saw his picture where his dog looks so sad, later you wonder why and he says it's because of the winter. RIGHT!

She is simply the greatest because she turns simple songs into outstanding ones. Just listen to the lyrics of her songs, it'll look silly and childish and lame on any other singer, but when Fairouz sing, it's another world. Pure Magic.

I love this Dusan dude. He's never never hungry, doesn't even try to flirt with girls, in-case he tries, he tries with a single girl only and not more. He's not dirty minded, and he's not into sex at all. He's got fat stomy instead of working on his abs ffs.

thats sth great to be honest corvette  , i dont know may be if i give it a try now i would like it but back when i was still with my parents and they would play her songs i never bothered listening it was hard for me.

as for the abd-al halim song that is one of his best, i think i like his songs bec some of his movies ( some are tooo cheesy :D ) but the songs stick to yr head that way.

فايق يا هوا is my fav :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrJ1ml4SbM8
that is a nice one too:tup:

oh thank you rab!!! :D i simply adore that lady's voice.

to be honest i think the two cant be compared, music back in om kalthoms time was very different, dont forget she had a certain point of view regarding certain instruments. fairouz is def on par with om kalthom but i think it would be hard to compare both of them. i think fairouz wins me over bec her songs are light ( not light as in non sense like what we see these days but light as in easy to understand) and the music in my opinion is revolutionary.

oh dusan u r playing with fire now, u know asif has jealousy issues over rab!!! good luck dealing with that i hear he haunts any potential competitor down :snoop:
