    'Napoli won honesty Scudetto’
    By Football Italia staff

The mayor of Naples insists Napoli “won the Scudetto of honesty and best play on the pitch”.

The Partenopei amassed a club record 91 points this season, but it wasn’t enough to deny Juventus their seventh Scudetto in a row, with the Bianconeri finishing four points ahead.

“This year we believed it was the right year and next year it will be more difficult,” Luigi De Magistris told RMC Sport.

“We need to understand if [Coach Maurizio] Sarri will stay and which strong players from this team will stay.

“Next year there won’t only be Juventus, it will be more difficult. That’s why we need to strengthen the team.

“Napoli played great football, then there was also the Inter-Juventus game where the refereeing wasn’t of the highest standard.

“With all the extenuating circumstances, the mental fatigue and the thin squad, it was necessary not to give up in Florence.

“The great teams never give up, even when you think it’s over, because nothing is impossible if you believe it.

“I think we won the Scudetto of honesty and best play on the pitch. Napoli suffered so many injustices that some confused with complaints.”

From TuttoNapoli: When Cr7 said: "Ancelotti? He helped me a lot, one day we'll work together again."

Ronaldo should come to Juve. hes won everything in England and Spain, if he can do the same in the last big 3 league, he will erase every last one of doubt, if there even is any left, that he is truly, the one and only GOAT
