You could argue Diego was a bigger disappointment because he was one of the best players in Europe at the time while poop is nowhere near that.
I said it before, to me Diego is an interesting case because he was truly talented and at his prime. I feel like this was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time as he didn’t seem to fit Ferrara’s style.

Modric instantly recognised how big Real Madrid on arrival and felt, not knew. But felt what anything but a win means there. He acknowledged quickly how he struggled at first to adapt. He then worked hard to gain a place under mourinho. Infact mourinho deserves credit.
