ULTIM’ORA ATALANTA

#Gasperini: ”#Koopmeiners è vittima di litigi di mercato.

Credo che la nostra squadra rimanga competitiva”

#SkySport #Atalanta

Koop a victim of mercato quarrels.

Believes Atalanta will remain competitive.

Gsperini comments arent exactly encouraging. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come.

Gasperini has a history of making these kind of in your face brash comments about disputes with his players. He went through worse with Kessie, Papu Gomez or even Ilicic who left due to depression.

remember when throaters told us transfer market is long and not to panic about calafiori. then he signed somewhere else

remember they repeated same story with todibo. he signed somewhere else

now they been repeating this about koop.

it's incredible how shameless their throating is.

his depression is not related to Gasperini , he has a disorder, he has been ill for a long time Ilicic has been struggling with depression almost all his life. All because of a difficult childhood Josip was born in Bosnia. In the early 90s, Yugoslavia collapsed, and war broke out in Bosnia. For many years, Ilichich was tormented by memories – especially because of the death of his father, who was shot near his home. Josip was only seven months old at the time.

I know, and it was mostly rumoured about it being triggered about his wife allegedly having an affair. But during the time he was away and everyone was unsure when he is getting back, Gasperini used to get aggressive and angry to Italian media asking him about it. So he doesn't tend to be kind of coach who can keep his cool about sitautions around his players.

Atalanta hijacked the Brescianini deal to nipples. He even did the medicals there. Conte must be mad and this guy can be Koop's replacement.
He doesn't seem like the same sort of player. Isn't Brescianini just a regular box to box? He doesn't play advanced like Koop.

He is box to box. Usually I would agree. But this is Gasperini, he has a long track record of turning b2b CMs to AMs or false 9 forwards. Koop himself was a holding mid when he came to Atalanta, became AM there. Similar with Pasalic and many others.

Right now he uses a winger in Lookman an AM/winger in De ketelaere as 2 man striker duo.

He loves changing players positions.

True, he does. But my point is that Koop was always a scoring and assist threat, even in his AZ days. Brescianini doesn't provide that for the most part. So I would assume he would slide next to Ederson with Pasalic in front.

What did he say?
He blamed Juve for the situation which is what I expected from him.
Atalanta trying to squeeze as much as possible contrary to our dealing which seem like intended for decreasing valuation of our players.
In the end we might sell Chiesa for peanuts or even worse doing a reversed Carini Cannavaro swap with Inter.
McK to Viola.. I wonder why it isnt really moving...
Lets tell the whole world we want them out and expect money.. ridiculous.
From Chiesa to Liverpool we come to Chiesa to Roma or Inter with a quarter of the mentioned price.
In McK situation I see a re-integration.
Chiesa will probably leave for minimum or worse and I wouldnt even be surprised to see him go on loan to Milan..

Back on Koop - Reports claim we will meet Atalanta near their over valuation for Koop.
