like fucking always, years and years of penny pinching, negotiating 2-3M for weeks. Marotta, Tici and now Guintoli. Same fucking story. We can't just pay the fuckng requested amount and be done with it. Nooo, rather have goalkeepers and useless strikers earn 15-20M gross
Penny pinching because we don't make enough from selling.

Go in hard or don't go in at all, especially if the player is key to the coach's system and, ostensibly, your potential/apparent marquee acquisition.
Oh I agree, especially for your marquee signings. Gellitubbi thought the player power would save him a few bucks. Well Todibo stuck his middle finger, and I don't blame him.

if they are penny pinching because every penny matters, why did he waste 20m on 4th goalie?

pennies didn't matter there did they
Because Inter were sniffing at him. You want to start off with a bang and measure your dick well against your rivals

You really are choosing to die on that hill, aren't you?

I admire your perseverance ya Manyak.
4th goalie fee. 20m

juve missed out on cala because of 15m price difference

todibo fee 40m

juve missed out him because of 10m price diffence and loan or obligation issues

so yeah those pennies wasted on goalie could have sovled far more urgent issues

but throaters will claim market opportunity was more imporant than fixing urgent issues and 20m was "small" amount.

Market opportunities have been our biggest downfall of the last 10 years.

Pirlo and Vidal were great but almost everything after has been a disaster.

The JJ way has always been quantity over quality.

It's 4m loan + obligation to buy. It will be counted as €4m for this financial year.
Di Gregorio is needed for GK who can play from the back with his passing compared to Tek. While the goal is also save wage bill from Tek's high wage.

We beat the competition early as it reported there also Liverpool interest. And even Inter bought GK Josep Martinez from Genoa, You'll never know if Di Gregorio still not signed by us at the time, he also could go there

It will be fun watching Di Gregorio tiki taka with spastic Danilo & Bremer.

If Giuntoli doesn't deliver on this transfer we have a big problem long term. Realistically, who would sacrifice their relationship with their current team for a sporting director who never delivers? Calafiori, Todibo and Koop have all gone against their own teams, stood their necks out and refused a bunch of other offers for Juve but we never delivered.

We can't deliver all of them unfortunately , without selling some of the deadwood because of our at least -100 million losses every year for the past 3.
