I do like Koop to a certain degree but getting fucked around by Atalanta is the stuff of nightmares
Don't really know if we're the ones getting fucked around after the statements "We're warning other teams Koopmeiner is not for sale." and "Koopmeiner doesn't want to play for us anymore."

They're just desperate in trying to make Juve look like the villain but it looks like we'll be bringing our boy home which is all that matters at this point. If we don't get him now, our mercato will probably fail miserably.

We've already offered more than enough. But the money doesn't do it. They have to also hold him out for August so that we can't even integrate him.

This is my feeling as to why Koop is now putting his foot down.

Ofc it's why Koop is acting the way he is. But it's possibly because Juve won't up their offer too. We'll see in the end. But getting him sort of 'on our terms' is important. Whether it's 3 weeks late or not is not such a big deal on a 5-year contract. We should keep the bigger picture in mind.

There is a player who does not appreciate the blessings he has. He does not strive to preserve them but instead tries to destroy them through random demands he does not deserve. He has only shown his love for the club through emotional posts, seeking sympathy from emotional fans.

On the other hand, there is a player who is willing to leave everything behind to join us. He has even shaken the core of Atalanta to force them to let him go. That says everything.

That's extremely selective and convenient in Juves perspective tho.

Chiesa hasn't done much besides ask for improved salary. For everything else it seems he has been professional, quiet and just trained.

If Koopmeiners did at Juve what he is doing in Atalanta right now, fight with his coach, refuse to train, outwardly say he must leave now, social media remove signs of being our player etc. Oh my God would this forum be in armaggeddon level melt down.

I know it fits us in this scenario, and Koopmeiners has the right to ask to leave. But before you praise him for it too much, imagine what you would done if he did this to Juve (and how Atalanta elevated his career), then you wouldn't be as quick to praise it. I understand it (clubs themselves are ruthless too), but I won't praise it.

I know first hand how it felt when Cristiano Ronaldo forced his way out and left like an ungrateful selfish dog to Man U. Or how Juve fans felt when De Ligt was adamant he wants to go to Bayern etc.

Imo the deal is already done. Atalanta is a selling company, a well-run one. They want to sell as much as we want to buy. The delay may be an agreement between both, for Atalanta to buy players in peace, and for Juve to collect the money.

If the deal was done, they wouldn’t have started pointing figures at us and Koop. Yesterday’s news might finally be the catalyst for the deal to get finalised. If I was Atalanta, I would try to wrap up O’Reilly now. They also had to panic buy Retegui for over 20m because of Scamacca and they also need another defender too. They will blow the Koop fee real quick.
