I'm pissed off that this transfer has taken all summer (and still isn't done yet) - but it needs to be done.

The modern game is won and lost in the midfield, and Thuram, Luiz and Koopmeiners is a great foundation to build on.

Koop yearly cost with reported fee and wages will be about 20m.
Bernardo Silva, depending on the length of the contract close to 30m annually (if we really believe he is even available for 35m in the first place).
I know he is a better player, but we dont only need quality but also bodies and his cost would be similiar to signing both Nico Gonzalez and Koop.
