Bunch of primadonas here You guys want a very good versatile mid player, BUT you want him to not cost 50mil, at the same time you want him to be chased by top clubs.... you want him to be on a reasonable wage, you want him to be young and has no injury history, you want a fancy one, but hardworking one....you compare what other teams are paying for their targets and unleash the inner manager/sporting directors in your young bodies who barely touched a ball in ther life, let alone handle/operate bussines at this level

Liverpool. But prefers Juve apparently
Yes, Liverpool are after him, can see some sources about that. If he is not injured and performs well in Euro 2024, probably he will already in Liverpool for 60m, maybe some bidding war between Ten Haag and Arne Slot will bump the price a little, with their salaries offer we will have no chance

I'm curious to hear your opinion on this one (forgive me if you already stated it in the thread), I think you are a very reasonable guy and I respect your posts...I am no finance expert myself, so I won't dwell into the financial details of it, but for me this is the type of midfielder (besides Zidane who is from another planet) the Juventus I fell in love always had the center packed with. Hardworking, robust, nothing fancy, straight to bussines kinda powerhouse dude...imo will be of great help here

Yet, despite that, you see no top clubs chasing him.
Both Liverpool and Union were heavily linked to him.

Who wants to sign Olmo? Despite being one of the best players at the Euros, most big clubs are staying away from him and there's a huge reason behind that.

There is no doubt Olmo is a better player but complaining about not going after him doesn't make sense given his injury history and our luck with injury prone players.

I'll repeat this again. Juventus are not in the business of signing elite WC players. Juventus need to get back to the summit of Serie A. Signing one of the best midfielders in Serie A gives you a good shot of achieving that objective.

This is not the same Juve that used to win scudetti for fun and regularly made quarters of CL. This is a Juve team that struggles to beat minnows in Serie A. People really need a reality check it seems.

We are targeting players who are not linked to any top clubs, except Calafiori that we lost him to Arsenal if you call them a top club. González, Adeyemi, Sancho, Conceição and others. But they not are lesser players if clubs like Bayern, Barca or Real are not signing them. I think Giant Clubs already built their teams in previous years and they are doing reinforcement now. koopmeiners is far better than other options, less injury record, better stats at least on the paper, 50M much pretty acceptable for him as it's the market price for a player with his features.

They are lesser players because they are lesser.

Sorry to disappoint you mate but I don't watch Atalanta all that much, so you're probably better placed to say what type of player he is.

I think it's right to be cautious about attacking players in a Gasp team but Motta has done well with attackers too.
