Besides attacking Bush, some people label our government as a whole in the same tone as Bush. Or some just make up absurd things like the U.S. will attack Sweden or we fix other elections. That's what gets me.

I'm not pretending to be the expert, you are.
But let me ask you this: are you saying that the terrorists, got together, made a plan before Bush was elected, kept silent for 10 months and on 9/11 did something they planned a year before, having no contact in the meantime? damn, thats some planning. Clinton didnt know what would happen, neither did Bush. But my point is this: If Clinton knew there was a problem (as you claim), Bush would have known it too, and he would have paid more attention to it prior to 9/11.

Clinton did zilch after 3 more terrorists attacks
Clinton was not a war time pres- he didnt like to think about hurting others
All the planning , recon, and training was done prior to Jan 2001, it was only when Bin Laden gave the order, that it was time
The only info that Bush got from Clinton was in Feb 2001 that terrorists might try to hijack a plane....no other info was given (the reason he got that info so late was because with all the monotony after the 2000 election, Clinton and the democrats were still bitter, and made the Bush admin wait for everything...TRUE FACT !!

OK, but lets look at this from another perspective. I'm pretty sure it didnt go like this:
"Clinton: Look George, we think someone's gonna hijack a plane somewhere.
Bush: Yeah, OK, thanks for the info playa"
I'm pretty sure that there would be other people that would be able to pass the info on from one administration to the other. The CIA director for example, the military intelligence, etc. I really, REALLY doubt that Bush didnt have the same info Clinton did.
EDIT: Also, even if all the planning did take place before Bush, I'm pretty sure the terrorists had to keep in touch during that time.

While I understand what you're getting at, I derive no confidence from the past three years where we've lacked major terrorist attacks on our soil. As I mentioned previously in this thread, the terrorists took 8 1/2 years to return to the WTC ... and during a time when anti-terrorist scrutiny was far more lax than it is today.
If we say that being rightfully prepared for terrorism means that we don't take anything for granted and that we don't shortchange the capacity of what horrible things terrorists are committed to doing (as we did with 9/11), we equally cannot take any confidence that the past three years are any indicator of future results. Fundamentalist Islam thinks in terms of centuries, not years. The past three years are a blink of an eye to terrorists, but an eternity for attention-deficit-disorder American culture.
