To help Iraq? These people invade Iraq, is on war with Iraq for God knows why and innocent civilians are killed and things in Iraq are proved NOT better with the US's occupation. So what did you really expect kids to do, be sad that their invaders are dead? And with that, did it not occur to you that taking hostages is only a desperate act for the Iraqis? They only ask for these troops to go off from their land, and they would've released the hostages. These hostages could have been saved if their countries would've negotiated or pulled off their troops and more lives can be saved for both parties. Imagine yourself in an Iraqi's shoes and try see what you will do to fight off your country's invaders. If you can come up with a better idea than taking hostages, please, we would all be glad to hear it.

you can ask one from Iraq about that, especially in the future when their country has developed to a modern democracy without scumbags like Saddam!
Yeah, we'll aske them that when the US has used up all their oil and isnt interested in them anymore, when 10 year old kids are working all day in a Nike factory for 0.25$, knowing they will never be able to wear the things they're making. Yes, slaving for your colonial master - globalism at its best :thumb:

    Sorry, dont know what DU-means.

But yes, the US hardly care about the lives of the civillians. Even in Bosnia and Kosovo, there are regions where the cancer and leucemia rates are up buy 700-800%, where the US and NATO used uranium-depleted shells.

Thank you.. and Yes, I'm glad you pointed that out.

I doubt that Salihah was refurring to the growing terrorist cells in the country who perform those non-human acts.

The general resistance is another thing though.

I don't now what kind of media U get in the US but they have asked Iraqie people and some actually say that it was better before.

And we can't force people to have a democracy. It will take some time. US is only making things worse now with their precense; example: Look at the areas where US is in Iraq and the areas that Great Britain are, it's much calmer in the areas where GB are.

What the bigger threat to the US is are missing nuclear from Russia.

No, but the US did too little too late... but I understand tho, why should they help, they had no national interests in Bosnia, no oil deposits.

The international community's stand on the war in Bosnia was wrong from day one. First of all, the UN weapon embargo, which was designed to stop even more weapons coming in to the conflict, but all it did was stp Bosnia from defending itself properly. Yugoslavia had one of the most powerful European armies at that time, and it was all in the Serb hands. Not to mention that it took them 3 and ahlaf years and 300.000 dead to do something.

are you saying thats america's fault?
Oh of course not, it's just an American company with American employees managing their 'staff' in American-built and funded factories. Linking that to America is a bit far-fetched, isn't it...
