I saw Tiesto last night and it was amazing. There wasnt many people and the venue was big.

I saw Tiesto couple of months ago as well at Crobar. Even though I like PvD more, Tiesto's set was a lot more sophisticated. He recently moved away from his (and others') old songs, and now acts more like a professional DJ, not like someone with a personality cult.

Yeah yesterday he didnt play too many famous songs, only Traffic, Adagio and Love Comes Again. He did a pretty cool set
I liked more the time when I saw him in Boston in 2004 . Both times have been different really

Has he? Well its about time I guess. Will have to wait until the summer to see him again, last time was a disappointment - a load of monotonous pap, then when the crowd get bored he plays one of his old tracks to get them all into it again.

Speaking of the mixes- I am slowly moving away from listening to albums/compilations (well, with an exception of the Dream Dance). Nowadays I am all into live sets and radio shows. With live sets you get the real soft vynil sound, imitating a true club environment, and it is very different from wav and mp3 quality. Radio shows keep me updated with all new releases. Pete Tong's Essential Mix, Van Buuren's State of Trance, and Hernan Cattaneo's weekly mix is all one needs to keep himself up to date.
