When these rankings came out, Tiesto immediatley wrote on his website that he is proud of PvD, and that he certainly deserves being on top. Speaking of the rest of the top 10, Hernan Cattaneo is certainly underrated, as well as ATB.

Of a good recent trance compilation: Dream Dance 37 is out. It is definitely better than the 36 and 35, with quite a few five-star uplifting tunes. Some of the better ones:

I would have thought that having been a trance listener yourself you'd know better than to stereotype the genre like that, you sound like a disgruntled fan of rock music that thinks trance is all about dj sammy!

Please, you might not like it but thats pretty weak to dismiss it like that
