    They didn't make the research.

    They wouldn't lie anyway.

    9.777.876 - 9 million or 9 billion?
Yeah, it is 9 billion Juventus fans on a planet, population of which is just over 6 billion :D

21 million worldwide sounds kind of weak. I think it's much more than that.

Couple of years ago I've seen a study which showed that there are more Juventus fans in Europe than any other club. Real Madrid was second, slightly below. But I don't remember where I read that.

Crap stadium thats why. I've never been there, but from the likes of it, it seems like it is more interesting to sit at home and watch the game on TV rather than go to the Delle Alpi. But thats my perspective on the topic.

Anyways, I am happy Juve are rebuilding the stadium to make the seats closer. Maybe by the time I visit Turin, the studium would be in its prime.

Yep, I won't even bother planning on travelling to Torino until 2006 when it is supposed to be ready.

    Juventino78, welcome to the forums!

Old Delle Alpi is an olympic stadium- so it's too large, it has running tracks, etc. Basically if you sit in the corner, you won't see much of what's going on in the field.

The new one will be an English type- so that everyone can enjoy the action, and it will be much smaller- around 40k people or so.

I've read that one too, manu was third... Anyway, it's only 40k stadium?! Damn, Fiorentina's staudium is like 60k stadium, we all know san siro and roma's olympic stadium... I thought it would be something like 60k stadium... Well, as long as it's allways full...

Is there a new statistics out at juventus.com?

In the last stats I saw, for 1st quarter of 2004 I think, the club had a budget deficit.

Yep, there are actually not that many Juve fans in Torino, in comparison with Italy as a whole. And there are very many Torino FC fans. So 72,000 were never filled up. Now hopefully we will get full stands.
