i got your back too ;)

Good. I'm expecting a little pork barrel politics. If I get you elected as captain and you don't instruct the team to send the crosses my way on set pieces, I'm expecting hookers in the locker room afterwards. Deal? :)

I thought a fellow Canadian would back me up on this. I'm very disappointed in you DB. :fero:

I may not be around here often but when I talk people listen. I will be the captain of the people.

Nawaf is no captain sceptic

www.channel4.com

Juventuz manager Nawaf may be deciding to shelve the poll for the captaincy of the team."We have many good candidates for the captain's armband" stated Nawaf. "Swag, Mark77, Vinni M, and even Michael Burke has crossed my mind to be the leader of this team" Nawaf added.

"I will sit down with my staff, and discuss the situation in a serene manner" said Nawaf.

Nawaf has recently added Baggio, Hoori, and Lilliana to the Juventuz staff.

Beck Denies Bust Up Claims

Star Juventuz stopper Andrew Beck has denied claims that he was involved in a training ground confrontation with fellow teammates Erik and Centrocampista.

Reports emerging from the club's training ground say that Beck became frustrated by the actions of Erik and Centrocampista, specifically their insistence on speaking Dutch during club matches.

"Nothing happened, nothing happened at all," stated Beck after the training session. "I was just getting annoyed by my two teammates for speaking Dutch all the time. Centrocampista wanted to start something, so I decked him, smashed my knuckles in his jaw. No harm done, so this talk of a bust up is pure nonsense."

However, Erik had a different take on the whole debacle. "I think Andy is just mad that I lied to him about being a De Boer brother. Whether he likes it or not, he will have to make up for my mistakes on the right flank." Centrocampista was not available for comment.

This latest episode has just added fuel to the fire in the Juventuz camp, and comes just days after Beck and striker Michael Burke made disparaging comments about the English National Team.

"I think England should be banned from the World Cup, and Beckham should play for Chinbuk Dragons cuz he's worthless," stated Burke during a press conference. "I mean come on, England has only won one major tournament, and that was in London. I wouldn't even be surprised if they fixed those matches, those bastards." In a following press conference, David Beckham responded to Burke's claims in broken Spanish, in which nobody could understand.

In other news, Wang Chung commented on Juventuz's hopes for the upcoming season. "I like Juventuz, they are not all frogs, they are not all Frenchies, but they are little pansy boys."

GM Kent fines Beck

Reports emerging in the peninsula suggest that up and coming star Andrew Beck was on the receiving end of a heavy fine by GM Clark Kent. This came on the back of some rather disparaging comments about the English National team. "The conduct was not in keeping with our policies here, however I'm fond of the boy and choose not to fine him more than 5000 $. Andrew is still young, and he has understood the importance of mutual respect within the team and on a broader scale. This episode will not repeat itself in the future." Mr. Kent quipped. Moving on to another controversy, it seems Mr. Kent handpicked women on the Juventuz staff for his own personal pleasures. He denied all such claims before driving away in his newly acquired Enzo Ferrari.

Swag is a strong candidate says Clark Kent
goal.com

In a goal.com exclusive, GM Kent has revealed a direction towards which the Juventuz captaincy could be heading. "Of course, Nawaf and I will have a discussion before we decide on this issue, but I think we're both well aware of our choices for the privileged role. And at this point of time we are looking for a model professional. Yes, it is true Swag has been one of the names on our minds for sometime now. However, there are some interesting candidates who have their own special attributes. And I wouldnt discount them all out just yet. " said Mr. Kent with a smile on his face, before boarding his flight to Venice, the destination of the Massimo Moratti charity event this year.
