In other news Juventuz's captain is to be decided on a vote of the fans and players.

Wunderkid Daniel Brown, the youngest ever Leftback in Serie A was asked to comment on the hot race:

' I don't think I'm in with a realistic chance, but it would be nice to get more votes then the counterpart for my position, Mark77. If he is chosen captain, this could seriously detrement my playing time'

When asked who he should think would make a good captain, he replied:

' The squad is full of so many leaders. Including Me ' he added quickly at the end. '

Al Khalfan: "I'm not worried about the captaincy"

In a hectic day for newly-formed club Juventuz, we once again find ourselves talking to Juventuz' talented manager.

"I don't care about the captaincy," he said, " I believe I have a squad full of leaders, and the captains armband is purely symbolic. I'm sure whoever wins this election would be a fine choice, as I'm confident in all of my players."

In theory the winner of this gets a certain starting spot (patience Nawaf).....

The winner, to be captain, must be awarded it in the tactics section, so to truely be captain, they must start the game, tho imho , until a consitant game leader cna be picker, nawaf should get the 1st captaincy, this vote should merely be for the vice-captains.

Zlatan: I dont think Dan should be captain
    sports.it

Juventuz goalkeeper Zlatan Balta seriously dented his young teammate's chances of getting the captains armband, by saying Dan Brown isnt experienced enough. "I hold Dan in high regard", he said, "but I think he's too young to become captain at this point. He's a great player, and one of the most exciting young players in Europe, but I dont think he should be captain just yet." When asked who he thought would be the best man for the job, he simply said "Greg".

Brown is a great young LB and he should note that Mark77 is not a LB and not feel threatened by him taking his spot.

"I was born a striker but can play in the midfield, I'm versatile so the coach can play me wherever he wants to."

I think Andy should be the captain. He's been at Juventuz for ages, his place in the squad is unrivalled and he has the influence. Plus he good at the tactical side.

    Al Khalfan Announces Ljubic Capture

In another surprise transfer, Juventuz manager announces the signing of young Croatian defender Vlatko Ljubic on a free transfer.

"We are very happy he has arrived. With the right conditions, which are only found in this club, he could turn out to be better than Igor Tudor, and without the injuries as well."

He also found time to comment on the new kits..

"What new kits? Those are obviously fakes done by an amateurist. When the new kits are ready, we'll post them on OUR site only. One thing's for certain though, they WILL be pink."

"Too many chiefs, and not enough indians" www.penthouse.com

In a surprising interview with Penthouse magazine, new signing Vinn M. describes the attitude in the Juventuz dressing room. "We have too many chiefs, and not enough indians" stated Vinni M. "you have a whole team of wanna-be captains, and not enough people open to following orders."

Vinni M, one of the older members of the squad in age, offers some insight as to who he thinks should lead the team "I have a lot more experience in running a team, and giving out instructions....this is what I do for a living" .

Vinni M, the former team captain for WNY Internazionale, also gave his opinion about being a substitute on the Juventuz team "Nawaf is making a big mistake, he''l see my best when given the chance"

Ljubic hopes to impress both manager and the fans:

Although a great star in his home country, Vlatko Ljubic is fairly unknown in Italy. The young defender/midfielder is already feeling the pressure of his new surroundings. "Yes I'm happy to be here but am also aware of the responsibility for playing in such a big club. I will conduct myself as a professional and do what the manager instructs me to" the young Croatian was quoted saying. It is being rumoured he's going to be sent on loan somewhere outside Italy.
