I would still like Ranieri to be a bit more adventurous and try out the 4-3-3

Buffon
Zebina - Melleberg - Cheillini - De Ceglie
Camoranesi - Zanetti - Sissoko
Amauri - Trezeguet - Del Piero (C)
imo its gonna be 80% 4-4-2 and 20% 4-3-3 this year for ranieri
my question is,camo and neddy can be used in 4-3-3?

I prefer 4-3-3.Even though Giovinco and Iaquinta are more suitable for this formation I think Amauri and Del Piero will play.

sell Almiron and Tiago.Marchisio and Ekdal to be 4th and 5th choice midfielders.

Mellberg-----Legro-----Chiellini--

--Sissoko----Zanetti---De Ceglie

Camo---------------------Gio----

-----Amauri------DP-------------

I think it can work better, but I can't imagine playing with 3 defender. But this formation can be fast a 4-4-2...

What the fuck...

These formations are insane.
They're incredibly stupid. Nobody fields teams like that.

I think there's about 0% chance we'll be playing 3 in the back. Someone who puts Giovinco as a defensing left midfielder needs to be punished hard.
agreed!!

remember the last time Juve tried a 3 man backline? Remember Capello's fucking disgrace of an attempt against Liverpool when we played with Cannavaro, Thuram, and Montero at the back? That was a tactical mess and completely unorganized. most boring and pathetic game i ever watched under Capello.

AND that was with Capello. (tactically better than Ranieri)
AND that was with a better midfield in front of the backline.
AND Chiellini is the only defender now who even comes close to the ability of those past three.

Please, no 3-5-2 suggestions. That's garbage - we don't have the players or the coach for that.

for a 3-5-2 you need exceptional defenders, and wingers who will track back...Juve don't have either so no1 suggest 3-5-2 please
Totally agree. it might have worked if we had

------Poulsen-------Sissoko--
Chiellini--Andrade--Mellberg

but given Andrade's injury...

I would guess only 442 and 433 will be played. Ranieri said when he first came here anyway he will always play 4 defenders.

We still don't have those hardworking defensive wingers

I know I'm repeating myself, but we wont see much of 4-3-3 because:
- Ranieri tried it last year and he dropped the idea to play a flat 4-4-2
- DP doesnt like to play as a winger, he wont agree to anything but a SS role
- Both Nedved and Camo prefer the winger role than AMF, though both can be great at that role, and I dont think Ranieri will bench Nedved and Camo for Gio
-Ranieri doesn't want an AMF, that's why he rejected VDV
-Signing Amauri wont change Ranieri's tactics, last year we had Iaquinta and he was rarely used in a 4-3-3 formation
-Our Fullbacks are poor:
Offensively: so they wont produce enough crosses as I cant see DP and Amauri handle crossing balls for Trez
Defensively: so they need both RW and LW to help in defense, even with the presence of 2 DMs (Camo and Nedved had some extra-defensive rolls last year)

Nothing changed since last year, excellent attack, many DMs, no AMs, excellent wingers, weak defense and unreliable fullbacks.
