like I said, you can argue about names but how about the tactic?
I know it is no reference but it works like crazy in fm

you can choose if you want your backs to go forward or not depending on the opposition
and if I had put Camo in you would have asked me what about Zanetti or Amauri or Iaquinta or... you get my point

that is more or less what I said only that you draw one of your midfielders back
that would suit Alonso perfectly but we haven't signed him ... yet?

We're not that bad in that department. Zebina on form is a very good player. We saw Grygera at the EURO and if Molinaro learns how to cross he'll be ok. De Ceglie should work on his D and he'll be fine.

Zebina would do fine, as would Sali. The problem is Molinaro or relying heavily on De Ceglie.


I doubt it will be used due to Ranieri refusing guys like VdV due to not playing an AM.

Oddo, Jankulovski and Cafu all went forward well.

I'm not saying that the full backs have to be brilliant, but they will have to provide the width, so the must be decent at going forward and crossing.

I hope so, but I want the youngsters to be eased into action rather than giving them too much responsibilty too soon.

ok we signed Poulsen, if we do sign Xabi too then I really see no reason not to play with three men in the center of our midfield

He played very well, and did also defensive work!
