The "Big name" player could be one of Zlatan or Vieira. Both has underperformed heavily and could be sacrificed. Even Buffon could be sacrificed, even though I wouldn't want that.

IMO 4-4-2 is the most ballanced formation but i think Cap play with two DM cuz he got two of the best and want to use them both

IMO if you take Barzagli and not Bonera this team is good

maduro didnt impress me at all, bonera sounds logical though as he is one of few young italian defenders who proven themselves.

pizzaro , not soo sure abt him also.... dont think he could handle the big stage but mybe cuz he is in Inter
