I wanna see that Trident as well!

The thought of it sends a tingling sensation through my spine...

I wonder if it'll work?

The way del Piero has played the last games, I think its worth a try against Atalanta :D

Zlatan-----------------------Trezeguet

--------------Del Piero----------------------

Nedved-----Emerson-----Camoranesi

Birindelli--Legrottaglie--Tudor--Pessotto

----------------Buffon

against Atalanta. We need this offence, since we are 2 goals down!

thats a very interesting formation , i would like to see that, wonder if it would provide the most entertaining performances.

i guess we will see that formation at the end of the season not now , even in the match against atalanta , i guess we will only see it if we dont score by the end of the 1st half

Since alot of people have been sceptical about the trident being too offensive i suggest we shift Zlatan back a little, since all this while he's been dropping back to the midfield anyway.

    -------Trezeguet-------
    Del Piero----------Zlatan

You know what, I think Del Piero would play well as a Trequartista. His one-touch passing is superb! He'll rack up the assists as often as they come by.

Everytime Del Piero plays as a Trequarista he is not impressive. Whenever he has to come back to midfield he is uneffective and seems to not move the ball quick enough. I say if we use anybody for that role it would be Mutu, because we will not be changing our tactics that much until this season is over.

yes del piero hates to play behind the strikers... i dunno why but it's true that he doesn't impress in this position. but sometimes we'll need him to do the job. like tonight against atalanta, if juve are stuck we'll need to attack and attack. If Moggi's words are true, then DP should start to impress from the next matchday on, and therefore he'll have his striker role reserved for him.... we'll see.....

I'd like to see capello try something like this:

    Buffon

    Zebina - Thuram - Canna - Zambrotta

    - - - - --- Emerson - Blasi

    Camo - Olivera/Nedved Olivera/Nedved

    ---------------Trez/Zlatan

nice Dominic, but it feels that noone will score :p and 4-2-3-1 didnt work well with Lippi. But I dunno, maybe that would be good...

Del Piero doesn't do well as a playmaker so if we were to play him and two other forwards for whatever reason I would use a trident attack and ask DP to drop deep and pull wide from time to time, but not operate as a trequartista. The prospect of Del Piero and Mutu creating slightly behind Trezeguet or Ibrahimovic is quite appealing to me.
