I disagree. They are both completely different players with different jobs. Sissoko is purely a destroyer, he is not required to distribute the ball. Poulsen, on the other hand, has a very simmilair role to Zanetti. They defend but also build up attacks and distribute balls.

You can't compare the two.
i always thought Poulsen is more of a destroyer than momo is

I don't think so. I think Poulsen is a destroyer but he isn't purely a destroyer like Momo. He can also pass well. In fact, and I; not overrating him or anything but he probably is one of the better passers in our team. He doesn't give any sloppy passes.

I think Momo tackles at least 10 times more than Poulsen on average. I don't know how Poulsen is more of destroyer than Momo. Poulsen focuses more on closing down spaces more than he does on tackling and stripping the opponent of the ball.

Completely different?? It's not like one is a playmaker and 2nd is a destroyer. Poulsen is primarily a destroyer. Don't let his better passing of the ball fool you, their tasks on the pitch are almost same.

Sissoko distributes the ball a lot if you haven't noticed. But he doesn't do it very good. Hence he looses it often.

Lets not overrate Poulsen's passing ability yet. Yeah he put in a few good balls in the matches he's played, but his main job was always more about defense in the midfield.
Word is bond.

Comparing Sissoko and Poulsen is the same as comparing Zanetti to Sissoko.
I don't believe you can do that primarilly because they are players that hae different skills. Kind of like comparing Del piero to Trezeguet. They are both strikers and have more or less the same job on the pitch which is ti put the ball into the back of the net yet we can't compare them because they have completely different styles of play.

It's not about the position of the player as it is his charectaristics and what he does best. Sissoko does not distribute the well, when he does, most of them end up on the touchline. He does make occasional runs into the box, something Poulsen can't do. However, Poulsen has showed us a few times this season that he is capable of distributing those long balls very precisely into the area, kind of like Zanetti.

I don't think we can say one is better than the other, that's just my opinion.

yep, some people are getting a li'l overboard with his abilities...
I've seen him play4 or 5 times with us including preseason games. I've come to notice that he does have a good passing ability. We don't have to be watching him for 10 years to know ehere his strong areas are. I remember seeing Giovinco play for 10 minutes in serie B and we all knew that kid was special.

I'm not saying this guy is Pirlo or anything, he's just a different styled player to Momo and thus it's kind fo harsh to say Momo is better.

and every footballer does that :)
no need to argue about who has better passing skills
i think it goes
1)Zanetti
2)Poulsen
3)Momo
That order is correct but Momo isn't an especially bad passer like he was known to be when we bought him, if anything Momo has developed his game by a far way since he got here, I even look like the look of him when he helps out offensively which defies the people who think he is a out and out DM.. In future I think Momo can be a real monster in our midfield and becoming more of a box to box central midfielder, the work rate and defense is there he just needs to work on his consistancy when it comes to passing and running in attacking positions..

i agree man he aint a bad passer but any time he gets the ball he becomes frenzy and hes able either to dribble 5 man in a row or lose the ball at once

ofcourse it goes without saying he definately needs to work on a few things and it'll take time, but once he gets his stuff sorted I think he can have the midfield influence we have not seen since Davids
