We still need a creative midfielder.
And he'd have to be in a 4-2-3-1 for us to be covered defensively. Tudor got schooled too easily with 3-4-3 and we don't have the adequate players. To effectively play 3-4-3, we need 3x Bremer. You can't do it with the junk we have. We're better suited for 4 at the back.

If they played to their known levels, this is a sick team:

Gargoyle
Mario - Bremer - CB - Cambiaso
Thuram - Luiz
Conceicao - Koopmeiners - Yildiz
David

I feel like this squad is fighting for fourth place again. not rebuild adequately and extremely lacking creativity in midfield.

Mario(Savona) - Bremer - Kalulu- Cambiaso

Thuram - Luiz

Conceicao - McKennie(Koopmeiners) - Yildiz

David

My ideal formation based on potential and guys being 100% healthy:

Di Gregorio
Kalulu - Bremer - Cabal
Mario - Thuram - Locatelli - Cambiaso
Conceicao - Yildiz
David

If we could get Cabal back progressing and performing the way he was prior to his injury then I don't think we need to invest heavily on a defender.

I also hope we could get Koop back in there somewhere but to be honest I did not see anything at all last season that makes me think he deserves a starting spot.

Joao Mario and Cambiaso are real wingbacks fit for the desciption of the role.

Igor #Tudor will build the 3-4-2-1 around Jonathan #David. Everything will revolve around the Canadian, a new advanced reference of #Juventus. #David will be the corner piece of the sector and the first mission will be to refine the understanding with #Yildiz, the essential piece of the bianconero puzzle.

You can do as many formations and tactics as you like, as long as Locatelli is a starter we are not going to play better or finish above 4-6th place

I thought Tudor would put him on the bench and not like Motta who kept him playing as a starter, It seems Juve coaches are forced /obliged to play him in the starting lineup! Locatelli should be on the bench, I don't see any technical point in playing him regularly cuz he literally add nothing!

I don't mind that squad actually. I think it needs another world class defender to be on the next level. Its also never good to revolutionize a squad every year. I would argue the depth up front is better.

Yeah I think the players brought in last year will do much better this year. They should have settled in better and had time to understand the tactics with a full pre season and what not. I expect all of them to improve. We've also improved the attack by signing J. David.
