Dybala was already tried mulitple times in that role, didn't go well. He must be as near to the goal as possible. He is a striker
You are straight up lying out of your ass. He played consistently for a long period of time behind the striker as a CAM/SS in a 4-2-3-1 in 2016-17 when we won all we could and in 2017-18 which was the best season in his entire career! He played in the pocket behind Higuain and was absolutely instrumental. You can see the uptick in his stats when he was moved from a CF into a SS behind the striker after his injury, and it includes some of the best matches in his entire career: https://www.transfermarkt.com/paulo-dybala/leistungsdaten/spieler/206050/saison/2016/plus/1

This was the best season in his life, and we played the 4-2-3-1 all throughout the season when he kept banging in hat-tricks. ALL HIS HAT-TRICKS THAT SEASON CAME AS A SS BEHIND THE MAIN STRIKER!: https://www.transfermarkt.com/paulo-dybala/leistungsdaten/spieler/206050/plus/1?saison=2017

I would agree on 4-2-3-1 if we have a playmaker and Dybala plays as prima punta instead of Morata. I don't understand the second part of your comment, that it is the same as 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2. In my opinion it is not the same
You are absolutely insane if you think Dybala should play as the prima punta and we should ditch Morata completely. THAT has been tried multiple times for us and always failed. It worked at Palermo FOR ONE SEASON over 6 years ago due to a completely different tactical set-up and player set, but it has never worked here due to a nonexistent midfield. We absolutely rely on Morata and his hold up play, heading ability, ability to win long hoofballs and work ethic. Swapping Dybala and benching Morata is suicide because we'd have a literal midget as a target man being crossed to and punted balls to from deep. He'd lose 90% of those duels and the ball is back to the opposition again. Wanna see a game where Dybala was played the prima punta? Juventus 0 - 1 Empoli!

Berna as playmaker.
Or Kulusevski
We were 45 minutes from a treble with him in that position and as one of the better players in the team.
It was not a treble, fact. We lost the final

Didn't win the CL, did we? Okay dude, was for sure not my intention to lie hahah what the fuck this is a fucking opinion from me how can this be a lie. Just wasn't worthy remembering

I take it back hahah this forum is crazy, play Dybala as a playmaker do whatever you want.

Mandzukic is not here anymore and Morata is no Higuain, beside that reaching the final and losing it is not good. We should really try to win it this year

4-2-3-1 is the way to go with the players we have.

Tek
Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-Alex Sandro
Bentan-Locatelli
Cuadrado-Dybala-Chiesa
Morata

Dybala is good at coming back to collect the ball and make nice passes for our fast strikers.

Kulu, Berna, Kean, Rabiot, Chiellini, McDonald could be useful subs.
it's the best formation for Dybala and Morata and will likely work against most teams in the league, good counter play style set up..
But it's not balanced and it will show against better opposition in a fast paced match where you can't expect Cuad and chiesa to contribute fully in both attack and defense for 90 mins+..
Loca has to be a playmaker/ DM which leaves the sole heavy lifting to Bent and he is not solid enough..I'd still like to see it in action in the league and see how it goes.

That's why I said we "won all we could". Real were much better, and we didn't deserve to win the CL that year.

Well you were straight up lying by saying "it has been tested multiple times, never worked" since it indeed was tried for multiple seasons to great success and anybody that has watched Juve in recent years should know this. I'd barely call "Dybala works best as a prima punta in place of Morata" an opinion either since that has been tried multiple times for us too and it has always failed. It's like you fabricate these alternate histories and when you get called out on it, just brush it off by saying "hahhaha bro it was just an opinion".

Actually in final semi final and final made a small adjustment, we played Barzagli as RB and Dani Alves as RW, technically we played 3-4--2-1 or 3-5-2. Wish we had continued with proper 4-2-3-1.

That is a lie, we could have won the CL but we didn't because Dybala failed as a playmaker

we failed as a team in cardiff. i wouldn't put the blame on one single player. especially in the 2nd half, dybala was terrible, but so was dani alves, bonucci, barza, pjanic, khedira, the list is way too long. we didn't defend as a unit, we looked tired and clueless. mandzukic gets a free pass from me, chiellini wasn't too bad either, the others can all suck a dick for cardiff, including my eternal love euromax.

And we conceded from a deflection shot from 35 meters after that everything went downhill. It wasn't our night.

That Madrid team was magnificent, they probably beat us 8 out of 10 times. They were great that night and nothing but our best would've given us a good shot.
