4-2-3-1 would be great imo.

We could play Licht-Barza-Bonu-Chiello back 4 which could then change into a back 3 in offense with licht moving further up to make a 3-3-3-1

In the MF I would play Pogba-Asamoah. Both are very physical but also good passers, spreading what would be Pirlo's duty between the two. Also makes it harder for us to be shut out like when Pirlo is.

RAM we would need someone with great crosses. A natural winger would probably work better than a foward like Vucinic. CAM I would play Vidal, he has a great ability for defence splitting balls but also would give us much higher intensity allowing us to win many balls higher up the pitch. He is quite decent on the dribble and faking out opponents, so he could probably create many chances for himself. LAM I would play Vucinic in the same as role as when he played left in 4-3-3 last season. Asamoah could also be used to make runs from deep ala Marchisio with Vidal dropping a little deeper to cover. Marchisio would make an amazing sub or rotation choice, he could easily start too. Pirlo could be used in lower intensity games, like most Serie A matches.

I like that formation, but no way Asamoah starts over Marchisio. Asa would be a nice sub option though. And Chiellini isn't really that great in the LB position, but I understand the need to keep the BBC back line all playing at the same time.

If we could sign Sanchez, that would be a dream formation.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

I know that Conte has said he made the change to incorporate Pogba, but he wouldn't have made the change if Juve's forwards were playing well.

He just chose to put the positive spin of Pogba's form on the decision rather than the negative angle that would have involved criticising the forwards.

True, it could be the forwards bad form. Or it could be Pogba good form. Or even that Marchisio is fitted for that postion. We don't know.

We could see a change in formation only if we sign player like Sanchez. Otherwise we will most probably stick to 3-5-2.

I like the 4-2-3-1 as an option. Especially if we sign Sanchez. I'd play Marchisio in the hole though instead of Vidal. An engine room of Vidal and Pogba is potentially miles better than one with Marchisio and his talents are better utilised up front anyway. LB could be Chiellini for a more defensive mindset but probably should be a new signing.

I'd love to see Juve play the 4231, one of my favorite formations. Although they're modern interpretations of more traditional formations, it's a great style of attacking play when you've got the right personnel.

Yup, and I think Marchisio would be great in the hole if he's flanked by two creatives. Offers a lot of flexibility in that he can use his pressing game and let us shape up as 4-3-3 (or 4-3-2-1, whatever) in defense. Plus, his main skillset is movement, first touch and timing which is much better suited further up the pitch. Pogba and Vidal can playmake and tackle better.

4-2-3-1 is not that much different to 4-3-3 really. We could actually use both depending on Pirlo's form. In 4-3-3 we'd play classic MVP while in 4-2-3-1 we'd play 3 B2B:

424, maybe, 4231 never. We did try it under Ferrara the last time Gio was here, and we played it with Diego, Gio and Camo as the 3 behind the 1. Worked like a charm, ironically against Conte iirc.

I love this 3-6-1 formation that Conte is using. I have always played that in all the FIFA's in all the FM's.... Just flood the midfield with quality midfielders. The only thing that makes this formation bad for us atm is that we need a proper Advanced Playmayker, better than Marchisio, someone with much more creativity cause CAM is probably the toughest and the most demanding position there is. Thats my opinion.

The 4-3-3 looks better.
But both are good solutions for sure.

Just play 1-2-3-4 and be done with it. One defender that is Bonbon. He will deflect every ball into Buffon's goal.

Juve played like that against Samp that season and won 5-1 I think.

Ferrara also played 4-2-3-1 away to a French team in the CL (Bordeaux I think). Del Piero was on the left of the 3 and it didn't work at all.
