This team is going nowhere fast. Diego and Trezeguet, our most creative player and lethal poacher, are on their way out. Giovinco and Poulsen are both gone.

Touted replacements? Di Natale, Rossi, Quag, and Pazzini! Laughable at best. Why don't we target people like Robinho, VDV, Benzema, or quality players, World Class individuals that can actually help us take that next step, as opposed to has beens and 2'nd tier guys who won't really contribute much?

With our current squad, we'd be lucky to finish in the top 4. We are vastly inferior to Inter, lagging behind both Milan and Roma, and will struggle against the likes of Palermo and Napoli yet again!

We're creating a decent and solid team, that'll get us in the CL. We'll get a lot of 1-0's and 1-1's this season. We're solid, but not that solid yet and we wont be so creative upfront. Come CL next season, come the money. We'll get two or three quality investments.

I honestly beleive these guys are plannig ahead well, even though one can disagree with some of their decisions. As do I.

You are optimisitc. I don't see reason for optimism. Diego was our creative force, and the most creative player on this team. Trezeguet is a lethal poacher, even at his age. Who are the alternatives?

We are thin on both quality and depth. Moreover, we have a lot of new players, and many unknown factors who could turn out to be good, average, or a downright disaster!

Roma and Milan are more solid, and will be more consistent than us. As for Inter, they are far ahead of us in terms of both depth and quality. We will struggle, and perhaps our encounters with Napoli and Palermo will determine whether we can get 4'th place or not!

We should have retained Diego. The bottom line is we lost a lot more than we gained by selling him. We could have focused all our efforts next season on acquiring a world class target man, and a very good LB. As it stands, we are short of a quality SS, and will still need that target man and LB next year as well.

Dom, if you are talking about steps, then we just took one giant step backwards.

Selling your most creative force and most lethal poacher can never be considered good or intelligent, unless you have a surprise lined up. However, with the current board, I fear the worst!
