What, 10 years isn't enough?
jesus ****, he's one of the captains here, he gave his heart to juve. not like nedved who said he was bleading biancoceleste while with lazio, and now black and white when with juve. and its not like he will be a first team player till 2008.
geez, where is your loyalty people.

mate, we 'might be wrong'...but still, heart or no heart, we can do better. i dont deny his heart and so on, but as long as he is at this club, i think he'll be starting all the time.

10 years at the club and was on bench for about 6 of them.

I hate to break it to you, but in the cut-throat world of modern football, I'd rather have a team of players who play great for Juve because it's their job, than a team of mediocre plays who have passion and loyalty, but not as much ability. Sorry if that makes me a heartless bastard

compare to the low standards of our form this season, he is not bad... he was among the main character in our great last season as well... he is absolutely not mediacre the way i see it..

I agree Graham.

Tacchinardi is alright, but not reliable enough and lacks the quality Juve desperately needs. He is ok when he plays alongside a great player (like Davids), but now more is expected from him and he just can't deliver the goods.

I'd like Emerson please Moggi!
(about 1% chance of that happening though)

:wth:

Davids can roam around becoz there is Tacchinardi backing him up behind... i dare not think what will happen with all the balls Davids lost if there wasnt Tacchinardi to break the opponents counters.. to think of it, i hardly see Davids on influential form in the last few season... while Tacchinardi have become some sort of our back bone... i'd say Davids can only be good if there he is played with players like Tacchi.... thats what i call teamwork... something Tacchinardi still fail to build with Appiah... hardly all his fault IMO...

and Emerson is a passing midfielder.. not a defensive midfielder... in Roma only Dacourt can replace Tacchinardi..

Do me a favour and watch a Barcelona game. Davids singlehandedly runs that midfield, winning balls, shielding the defence, and providing incisive passes which start the attack. Furthermore, Davids makes great runs with-in the midfield, so that his team-mates have an open pass all the time. That's really what Tacchinardi lacks. He is not a good passer and thus he needs two or more easy passes to palyers who can do something with the ball. He used to have Davids and Nedved and now all he has is Nedved. The easiest way to find out which player relied on the other is to look at how they are both doing without each other. Davids is lighting up La Liga and has been the catalyst for an amazing winning streak for Barcelona. Tacchinardi on the other hand has played like crap.

IMO, tacchinardi was never an outstanding player, nor was he a very bad one. In his position there are better players, but I'd just like to keep him. Because he's the kind of player that's always there - I don't really know how to explain it, but indirectly he does contribute to the match everytime. I expect people to disagree with me, but I stick by my opinion - I want Tacchinardi to stay :D

As you expected, I do disagree with you, because I don't really see how he indirectly affects the game, but oh well, if you like him, then who am i to say anything? :)
