good to see people here supporting our vice-captain.

seriously, **** you all.
I'm not trying to bring down Tacchinardi, I wish him well, but the reality is that he's not helping the team or his career, so why not move on?

well if he is not given the chance to help the team he will not be able to do it. of course barca need him more than anyone else now, cos they have serious problems lacking DM, but what if blasi get injured and emo is not in form?

though of course for tacchi it is better to have the possibility to play, 'cos he is not that old as some ppl here try to prove

Why would he want to move to play 3 months and then get benched in Barca because their injured players are ready again?, he is not that dumb like Owen.
Changing club means moving away from a place were he has lived for 10 years now, think about that!.

    i don't know, i weren't him, that's why i said " if ".:cheesy:

but if i were him, i can foresee that my time in turin is nothing but a bench player, i will go somewhere else to have a try, may be i will shine again. at least i have one more chance to prove myself. I am 29 years old only, why not ??

anyway, it is fine for me if he stays, i like tacchi, but capello doesn't. just feel that it is a little wasteful to sit him on the bench.

i don't know if he wants to leave, but he has been quiet so far about his lack of playing time so he might be content with a place on the bench.

if this persists, the simplest solution would be for him to take a pay cut and be removed of his vice-captainship.thuram seems to have been given that position along with zambrotta.

Juventus won't sell Ferrara, Pessotto or Birindelli just because there are better players on its book.

All these players are among the ones that keep our changing room together, even through the bad times.

    And same goes for Tacchinardi.

Since the team's biggest strength is its structure and unity, Tacca (Alessio, not me :p) will probably be kept unless he demands to be let go.

Good players alone don't win championships, just look at Inter!

I am afraid that Tacchi will be the next Davids!!!

Last year Appiah started the season well until he axed Davids out of Juve, BUT at the moment davids was gone Appiah turned into a disaster.. I think we should Keep Tacchi to keep the pressure on the others to deliver

well yeah but you have to remember that pessotto, montero and iuliano are not young anymore.who could possibly pay anything for these guys??and they've stuck with us for so long, the least we could let them do is see out their last year on their contracts and give them a place on the coaching team or let them go.

tacchinardi on the other hand has a good 4-5 years ahead of him,has a few years more on his contract, commands a high salary and gets as little playing time.plus we have more DMs in the team than at any other position.lots of clubs would be willing to pay,say,5m for him.

juve has a business-like policy too.we don't neccessarily sell players we don't need, but if a bid comes in they'd be more likely to accept it than not.

We still need Tacchi as Capello tactics required 4 healthy DM for the season...

Imagine if we sold Tacchi off in January and one of our DM (Appiah, Emerson, Blasi) got injured, we'll left with 2 DM for the whole season... and not veri sure that Tudor can play in tt position any longer....

Wondering any one know much Tacchi get paid?

Juventus ready to send Tacchinardi to Barcelona
    tribalfootball.com - November 5, 2004

Barcelona can sign Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi in January.

Juve intend to offload several of their fringe players when the winter market opens, including Nicola Legrottaglie, Mark Iuliano and Paolo Montero.

Tacchinardi is also on that list, though everything will depend on Inter Milan's willingness to allow Cristiano Zanetti to move to Turin as his replacement.

If Zanetti arrives, Juve coach Fabio Capello will give his okay for Tacchinardi to join Barcelona on-loan in January.
