CAN YOU SERIOUSLY SAY DEL PIERO IS ALWAYS OFF FORM?
Most of us just said he's inconsistent, and being off-form a lot of the time counts as inconsistency.

Square I think there's reason for all this pessimism. We're not playing very well at all these days, especially after our dream start in all competitions. Heck, I think it's the first time I ever predicted that Juve would drop points, and I never thought myself that it'd be against lowly Siena.

We support our team all the way, but judging by our shaky play in recent weeks, and considering that Siena's coming off a 4-0 victory with all of their strikers on-form... anything could happen.

Also, they wear black and white stripes :scared:

but this has happened in the past 2 seasons, where we won the scuddeto!
last season we were in 4th position now.
last season we had montero & ferrara as a first choice central defense.
last season our defense was too old.

everyone knows juve has been through bad times. a 1-1 draw at lecce?! LOL we will recover from that!

i'm talking about a matter of weeks or months. You can't say that we shouldn't be worried because we won the scudetto and all that last season. A team can start to have bad form in a matter of days or weeks

LOL now your opinion means nothing.

I agree with you Square.. there are a lot of pessimistic (too pessimistic) fans. being in a favour for a spoilt player over the club, is too much.
I don't want to hear things like our defense is not good this year and stuff like this. I agree, our defense isn't the best this year, but the "realistics" people used to predict a loss every time, even last year (and our defense was ok last year).
It's unbelievable, the "realistics" predicted a loss before every game last year and we won the scudetto. yeah, so realistic

actually come to think about it, why are we even having this thread, conversation or arguement

    not like it matters

if we argue and argue that one player is better than the other, so what, does it mean that Juve's gonna buy him over the other?

we're talking as if we are actually making a difference in Juventus as a company and as a club

if someone says that "Juve wont win the title this season coz we dont have enough defenders", some how or another Moggi's gonna hear this and go out a buy a couple of defenders?

If one of us says "Milan sucks or Roma sucks and Juve will whiip 'em asses" before we face them, does that mean juve will win?

you see it doesnt matter, so there's no reason to fight about it

Yeah, i dont see the point in this post either..

    No I do!

you see, this is useless..Talking and arguing as if we have a say in what will happen in the club. why bother. it's not like Moggi or Lippi or Bettega or whoever runs the club visits the site on regular basis and is an active member here or something, and reads all our posts and follows our every..umm..instruction or wish.

    so please, stop

After conceding goals like that against Siena, I'm still not convinced. If we hadn't won those penalties (which are a lottery), my 'pessimistic' prediction would have come true.

I think we'll have a disgraceful 2-2 draw, Siena equalising in the 88th minute. This is my first time being pessimistic, but we're just not solid enough these days. I hope I'm wrong

    maybe they should...
not visit the forum but hear what fans have to say, that's important. you know, fans do have an impact.
besides, it's not only about telling Juve directors what to do. we come here to say our opinion and compare it to others' opinions. hey whatever :D

Not necessarily. You can't know how things would have turned out if we had led 2-0 instead of 4-0.

this is where you show you no little of what youre talking about.

spirito juve was not just davids, and so is not just his replacement, appiah.

spirito juve is the spirit of the team. davids simply epitomises it. this is the spirit that scored 2 stoppage time goals against bologna away last season.

always off form captain?! again, exaggerating seriously undermines your credibility. CAN YOU SERIOUSLY SAY DEL PIERO IS ALWAYS OFF FORM?

no need to go into national prejudices by saying appiah is just some "ghannian dude". we all know hes a good player, undoubtedly, and still young. if you give him time he will settle in and be a fundamental part of the team for years. oh, but nedved took half a season to settle in, SO WE SHOULD NEEVR HAVE BOUGHT HIM! and thuram practically took a whole season, so we never should have bought him as well!
good. i'll try to NO more.

yes appiah is young he moght become a great player but so far he did do very well replacing davids. we need to buy youngers players and prepare them for taking the role from seniors. but getting appiah and axing davids was pure stupidity. if we kept him on the babnch for some time and playing him after davids left then i would understand it. nut no, moggi and co needed to show their supremacy.
and no, ale is not always off form but he not at the top most of the time. you cant deny it. and i am not on of those who bash alex everytime possible. no, i love the guy and i want to see him as captain 5 years later.

i get what you mean by spirito juve but spirito juve this season is nowhere near like the last cuople of seasons. accept it.

my knowledge is not excellent neither about football nor of juve. i know this and i dont try to hide it. but go and read opening post of this thread before coming here and claiming i dont know what i am talking about.

    god bless.

Wow dj, that was the longest and most serious football post I ever saw you post  :D

While I agree that criticism is something normal for when things are going wrong, over-criticism is silly. Yeah maybe our defence is letting the ball slip in the net too many times (though if you look at them one by one, 3/4 came either a result already acquired and/or from set pieces or own goals).

So if people are criticizing the team for conceding many goals, why aren't people praising the team for beating the juve record of most points in the first round and for having the best attack in serie a, something which we rarely do.

I would be worried of our defence only if we were not scoring goals. See Milan, they don't score many goals, but they concede few. So basically if they score one goal it's usually enough for them.

Losing at home to Siena was too exagerated conclusion as Juve's strong point this season, apart from the attack, is that they rarely miss the full points against the small teams unlike the other big teams who struggle with the minnows.
