    Barzagli to start Supercoppa?
    By Football Italia staff

Andrea Barzagli looks set to start for Juventus in tomorrow’s Supercoppa Italiana, as Coach Max Allegri deploys a 3-5-2 shape.

The Bianconeri will take on Coppa Italia runners-up Lazio in China tomorrow, in the first competitive match of the Italian season.

The central defender had been an injury doubt in the build-up to the match, but has assured fans that he is fully recovered.

Following today’s final training session in Shaghai, it appears Allegri will revert to a 3-5-2 system, with Barzagli playing alongside Leonardo Bonucci and Martin Caceres.

At the other end of the field, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala are likely to play in attack, with Alvaro Morata ruled out with injury.

Probable Juventus team to face Lazio: Buffon; Caceres, Bonucci, Barzagli; Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Marchisio, Sturaro; Mandzukic, Dybala

    Typhoon threatens Lazio-Juve
    By Football Italia staff

A typhoon could cause the Italian Supercup final between Lazio and Juventus to be deferred, but experts are optimistic.

The Biancocelesti and the Bianconeri are due to face off tomorrow at 13:00, UK time, which will be in the evening hours in Shanghai, where the match is being played.

But a typhoon named Soudelor could compromise the final, as reported initially by Lazionews.eu and later bounced on other Italian media sites.

As the weather is expected to turn to heavy rain tomorrow, there are odds that Soudelor could hit Shanghai directly.

Should that be the case the match would have to be deferred until December, though probably to take place in Doha, Qatar, rather than in China.

Fortunately experts believe that won't be necessary. According to Diggita.it, the typhoon is believed to have already exhausted the better part of its strength, and may turn towards the south-east of China only on Sunday morning.

By then Soudelor is expected to have lost most of its dangerous power.
