We need to stop going for 50m flops. Signing with Juve is not a license to be one of the highest paid Serie A players. Instead, sign several 10m-20m players like Atalanta and Viola do. One or two of those guys hit and the rebuild begins. We are swimming in circles with these overpaid flops. We need to build a base, we need a long term plan. And then down the road we can sign expensive players.

So we moved on from having the best defense with clear Italian core defense to not being able to sign players from Bologna and Parma?!
But its ok.. we are signing players from Newcastle`s bench...

Honestly with the names we are linked.. I`d take it.
Liverpool going for Leoni. Newcastle signed Tonali. Spurs signed Udogie. Arsenal signed Calafiori. PSG signed Donnarumma.

We used to control the italian market. How we miss Marotta.

We should just sign no one anymore. Leave the team as it is - finish fourth and start from scratch next year with a sporting director and a coach. Every player signed now is just wasted money on transfers, fees and wages.

Just try to get rid of as many players as you can.

1000% ok with signing him though. Guy is a generational talent and will be guaranteed starter for next 15 years.

No way this broke ass club can afford him though. I think he is going to Barca

Barcelona the most solvent club in circulation of course. They'll sign him and then Tebas will prevent them from registering him lol.

He obviously isn't coming here though, for both financial and sporting reasons. If it'd been 2015-2022 Juve we'd have a shout but he'll have better offers and we have a goalkeeper.

If they get rid of lewa that’s something like 20m in salary lone cleared but I agree otherwise

It's a real shame when the best Italian goal keepers and defenders don't play for Juventus fuck even when they don't play for any Italian club. Serie A is dead.
We were roughly close to signing him after Euro 2020, but if I'm not mistaken, at the same time we extended szczesny's contract. We didn't have a long term prospects for the goalkeeper position at the time.

Gigio #Donnarumma has given his availability to join #ManchesterCity, which are ready to submit their first bid to #PSG to try to sign the goalkeeper. #transfers #MCFC

But...but he isn't good with his feet :shifty:

And Pep still wants?

Jo David 13m
Joao Mario 10m
Di Gregorio 19m

The cycle here has been to overspend on players, give them high wages, and then sell off young talent to fund replacements for those high priced players that they cant sell because of the aforementioned wages/cost.

I actually wouldnt mind if Comolli didnt invest big money in anyone this summer and instead focused on smaller more inexpensive signings. Haidara would be a good example. Hes got one year left on his contract and could probably be had for less than 20M.
