Yes, but I hope we keep him instead of leaving him on loan at Parma. We desperately need more CBs…quality ones anyway.
I wouldn't bet my house on him coming in and fixing things either. I think him staying would be a very good decision sporting wise. Whether we have the cash to do such things and buy another CB to strengthen our defence, is another matter. Pretty much in the dark there...

Bremer - Rugani
Gatti - Kalulu
Kelly - Cabal

All we might do is sign someone to replace Rugani unfortunately.
I don’t think Rugani will stay.

Kelly might be of interest to some trash EPL clubs (I hope)

Bremer and Cabal are coming off major injuries, both will probably miss plenty of games through soft tissue injuries whilst trying to regain match fitness.

We need all the CBs we can get. Signing Leoni and loaning him doesn’t make sense to me.

It doesn’t matter. Look at the state of our defence. Leoni had a good debut season at Parma is young, Italian, knows the language, great physical attributes, would happily be a backup player whilst learning the ropes here. And let’s be honest, given the performances and level of our current CBs, I could easily see him becoming a starter sooner rather than later.

Of course it matters. You don't crush a talent because the club is in need of a starter. You simply buy a ready player then. If you can land a talent on the side and continue developing him where he is far from done learning, that's perfect.

Just like Huijsen is being crushed at Real Madrid and the Spanish national team?

JJ would of happily sent him out on loan last season if they didn't sell him and now look at him

Huijsen had a (half) season at Roma and in the EPL before he moved to Real. Let's wait and see what Huijsen will do this season at Real. They're certainly not as needy as us either, which is kind of the point, lol. Pretty useless comparison.

If we get a CB, it should be a certainty imo. Not a talent that then has no other chance then to perform or be killed in the press.
