Huijsen had a (half) season at Roma and in the EPL before he moved to Real. Let's wait and see what Huijsen will do this season at Real. They're certainly not as needy as us either, which is kind of the point, lol. Pretty useless comparison.

If we get a CB, it should be a certainty imo. Not a talent that then has no other chance then to perform or be killed in the press.

Just admit that your homeboy Giuntoli made a huge mistake in this case (just like in at least 30 other deals he made) and we can all go back to our daily business.

Mbangula, Soule, Hujisen are talents that with high ceeling just like De Liegt was, just like Giovinco was, just like Domenico Morfeo was.

We are in position where we need money, I agree that Kelly Hujisen situation was bad but in ELL even Kelly was once considered a good defender.

It doesn’t matter. Look at the state of our defence. Leoni had a good debut season at Parma is young, Italian, knows the language, great physical attributes, would happily be a backup player whilst learning the ropes here. And let’s be honest, given the performances and level of our current CBs, I could easily see him becoming a starter sooner rather than later.

Porto doesn't intend to be a mid level club and nor a selling club, they have someone in charge with a brain and not going to sell one of their promising players at a lower price. I wish someone like their director was manager director of Juve.

It a terrible move and we don't need more time to asses Huijsen to know it. One of the most talented defenders in Europe, coming from our B team, with minimal wages, in a moment when we need defenders (and talent), sold to sign Lloyd Kelly.

He is a player that usually plays well so despite the high cost and my personal opinion about him as an individual - He would still be an improvement over Vlahovic who simply doesnt work for us.

Savona is a nice squad player, especially in a system with 3 CBs. Ideal system for his game. Cabal is the other guy that should benefit from Tudor. Much rather have him than Kelly.
