Albanese
More on Donnarumma: There are concrete moves. Juventus are no longer observing, but working to bring the goalkeeper back to Italy and to make him wear the Bianconeri shirt, Gigio would like to play for Juventus.

Albanese is a clown. Analytically driven guy like Comolli investing 40M or whatever into a goalie? yeah right.
He's in his prime at a much better (richer) team. They would give him a big fat wage increase if needed. He's coming back to Italy when he's 35.

Why would we move on from Di Gregorio?

- - - Updated - - -

He's cheap, he's very good, he's young. There is zero reason to go from paying him 3m net to paying Donnarumma 12m net.
Because with players like Donnaruma you become a scudetto contender. Di Gre is good but Donnaruma is the top 3 GK's in the moment. And we can sell Di gre and pay those wages for Donnaruma. (I really don't believe we can bring him in Turin tbh)

The best goalkeeper in Serie A two years ago doesn't make us a scudetto contender?

Was Di Gregorio some liability?

Like I get the argument if our GK is Perin or some midtable level guy but Di Gregorio has been a top GK in Serie A and hasn't been bad.

Would there be some improvement? Maybe, Donnarumma was pretty bad when he arrived at PSG so like all players he has his ups and downs. But would him at his peak be a massive increase over Di Gregorio?

If we're dropping 60m of a transfer fee and 12m net wages on somebody, is it going to be a GK when you can get 1-2 steps down for a fourth that and improvement elsewhere?

Why would PSG even sell Dollarumma?
And why would he want to join this mess of a club?
Unless he badly misses Italy and wants to be back there, it makes no sense to leave a top club in the world to go to a worse club for less money (that applies to every club, not just Juve).

I'm sure it's just typical public negotiation BS with his agent leaking out his interest in returning to Italy.

Donarumma is indeed a much better GK but if we have a budget and we spend it on Donnaruma instead of taking care of other positions it would mean we have a GK we can trust but we would still be unbalanced and would still struggle.
Straight up swap same cost - Obviously Donnaruma. With all things considered - Unless we make it a low cost operation (D.G`s money + a reasonable but not too high sum) I`d pass.

We are now linked with Ndoye. He is a good player but he sits right on Conceicao`s role and between 40M Ndoye and 30M Conceicao I`d go for the Portuguese.

Giovanni Leoni (18) and Pietro Comuzzo (20)… Why linked with youth for Centre back and not a starter quality to partner with Bremer or be the mainstay when Bremer is out…
Leoni is actually a very good CB. I`d definitely snap him up for the right sum.
Have no idea who Comuzzo is though.

Leoni and Camuzzo both seem very raw to me.

Even in the last few games of the season Leoni made some poor mistakes vs Lazio (Pedro goal), Napoli (Anguissa hit the post) and Empoli (late on got easy beaten on the wing which led to a good chance). Lots of potential but doesn't seem ready to be a starter yet.

I think Juventus needs to make these moves along with a sprinkling of strong seniors. Raw could be great as long as they are molded correctly

❗️Juventus have set their sights on two Italian players: Giovanni Leoni (18) and Pietro Comuzzo
(20). The Bianconeri's idea is to sign one of the two, a replacement for Renato Veiga.

Via: La Gazzetta Dello Sport
If we could hold out till August, wouldnt suprise me Chelsea would be open for a loan plus option or obligation for him.

Send me 3 names your sources say we’ll sign, and 3 we’re likely to sell. I’m launching the Best Guru of 2025 competition

Everyone starts from scratch.
Current participants:
Badass (the reigning champ, odds-on favorite)
AndreaCristiano (hungry challenger)
Mark (former Ballon d'Or winner, nearing testimonial match)
Alex444 (allegedly wired into the Russian web brigade)
Lion (bald horse, or whatever that saying is)

Let the guru games begin.
