Osimen's the only striker we should be thinking about. Lookman is class but Atalanta would squeeze us big time. I'm tired of wingers. Lets play two up front or Allegri's front three with two strikers (ala Mandzukic/Morata - Higuain - DC). I'm confident that Conte can polish some of the turds in our squad and make us competitive. So, hopefully we focus on quality, not quantity.

We're still so desperate to 'modernise' and replicate Pep's style. That ship has sailed. His football is being found out. No more crap wingers.

pass on osimehn. can't have your main goal scorer miss 1+ month every 2 years to afcon

For Lookman, Atalanta's request would be €60M. A high figure for Juventus' coffers, which could only attempt to make a move if the economic request were to be lowered. [TuttoSport]
Let's transfer Junktoli to Atalanta instead. Can't we look beyond Atalanta players ffs ?!

21 Dec - 18 Jan. So during CL break I think?

He's guaranteed goals. Like a Higuain kind of signing. You know exactly what you're getting.

it's only for this afcon 2025 though they play it this early. after this it might go back to being played regualar time period

still imagine missing your main striker for 1 month while you have to play inter and atalanta same month. not a fan of it personally.

I dont even think Junktoli has ever watched bundesliga
looked it up — no signings from his tenure at Napoli from the BuLi. Reckon the Kvara transfer was a fluke, or somebody else’s doing

No thanks. 60 million for a CB is not where we should be spending our money.
he’s versatile can play different positions and is left-footed. i mean they were quoting €50m for Veiga on twitter so…

This is the age old problem we've been having since Higuian and Ronaldo.

We should be the team getting these guys BEFORE they take the Bayer or Leipzig step. That should be them stepping to us and going from 10-15m buys into 60-80m values.

We act like we're still at the same level as the Madrid or Bayern or any of the EPL teams.

i see where you’re coming from, but having said that…

Huijsen is now a €60m player. Milan fumbled Kerkez who is in the ballpark too. It’s a skill issue

The way Tonali's playing, there's no way the Saudi's would even consider selling him and playing for NUFC is probably better than playing for JJ right now

If there's one Atalanta player we should be going after, it's Ederson and nobody else.

Our strategy seems to be focused on being that stepping stone for players playing in Italy. Some of them cheaper than others, but what you describe is what we've done with Gatti, Cambiaso, Bremer, Di Gregorio, Locatelli, Chiesa, Dybala, Vlahovic and others too over the years. Weah and Conceicao are examples of this from abroad as well.

Most of them haven't really worked out (yet?) and that's probably in part down to the players but imo largely due to our headless management, training and development structure. But we are trying. This was supposed to Giuntoli's speciality but we've yet to see it much.
