Agree. The numbers just don't add up.

And we aren't confirmed to be in top 4 either.

- - - Updated - - -

they will demand the entire our budget, simply can't afford them unless we affload Cambiaso and Yildiz which they are the most valuable players we have at the moment. I don't see Osimhen happens only if Vla is sold for a good amount.

If we change coach - I wouldnt mind Osimhen. He is easily one of the best in the world.
If we stick with Motta though.. Im not sure a player like Osimhen will be a good fit.
Anyway now some Roma dude says that Osimhen will join Juve and that his source is reliable. We will see.

Osimhen is a replacement for either Vla or mauni.

Osimhen is supposed to be Vlahovic`s replacement but there are two things to consider:
1. Vlahovic - Is there any team for him and are they willing to pay his wages - I highly doubt we could find a suitor for a good price therefore exchanging him with PSG for Muani would be a great deal for us (should they accept it).
2. Osimhen - He is more the type to finish up things or make the final move rather than him playing a team game. This is why Im not sure about him being a good fit.

Michele Padovano to Le Maioliche: “ Vlahovic has shown that he is not a #Juventus player: he misses too many goals to be a Juve player. However, wherever he goes in the future he will do well because he is a good player, but not a top player. I really like Jonathan David . KoloMuani is ideal for Thiago Motta ”

Our players are in 88 & 90 (Kenan Yildiz & Teun Koopmeiners) from this data I got from fbref. This data sort by total amount of key passes this season
If we look these data we basically dont have players that resemble the one that can give key passes to the final area regularly, despite we played high possession based style

Some name that stand out are :

1. Alex Baena rank #2 (value 50m) from Villareal 23 yo, rarely injured. Basically can play in any positions in attacking area, but mostly play from left wing. Basically what we think Yildiz play looks like. But his key passes numbers double what Yildiz put this season . He had 71 key passes this season, with 6 goals and 7 assists in all competitions

2.Rayan Cherki rank #13 (value 30m), probably the one that we can try, because the connection we have with France, and with the numbers of France players in the squad it will make him settle better for us. He had 51 key passes. 7 goals and 16 assists in all comp this season

3. Jamal Musiala in rank #77, he has high %completion in almost all kind of pass, short, medium, long. it is can be clearly seen that he really had that qualities from this numbers, impossible transfer in our current condition. The most probable destination for him is Real Madrid

4. Tom Bischoff rank #52 from Hoffenheim, his age in the same with Yildiz, seems he already accepted a deal to move to Munich for free after this season

5. Mikkel Damsgaard (value at 15m) rank #20 can be a backup player that bring something, 3 goals and 10 assists, had Serie A experience, can be a backup player for all positions in attacking midfield LW,AMC,RW, even as CM and CF (from his past playing positions). This season he mostly play as left winger/ AM

Below are the list of players that currently played in Serie A if we want to look from within the league

Wouldnt Osi want the same as vlahovic is getting? Isnt the wage the biggest issue?

Line up a new manager first then start thinking about who to bring in.

You should make per 90 metric bro
I think that Yildiz and koop have much lesser minutes play compared to others

Of all name you mention, i think it will only possible if we sell yildiz or cancel buying conceicao. We won't buy stylish midfielder as long as Motta is still here.

Aaron martin is interesting name as weeks ago i see his name among the top expected assist in the league via sofascore. He is nearly 30 tough if i remember correctly.

Where do we even start with rebuilding this club? New coach? 5-6 new elite players? Both?

This season I’d say only MDG, Bremer based on previous seasons, maybe Kalulu, Thuram, Chico and KM get a pass.
