He has entire Europe chasing him. No way he's remotely close to being a realistic target for us.

I'm looking at David, Retegui, Hojlund as realistic options. Maybe Sesko if we actually have the funds but I'm doubtful.

Good thing we're one of the few "big clubs" that still hasn't secured a place in Europe next season. Maybe that makes it even more exciting for Osimhen.

Come on, clearly you have never watched KDB. He is like the closest thing to an old school playmaker you can get nowadays. Amazing passing from everywhere and a eye for goal from distance. Yildiz is nothing of the sort.

Euhm, yeah not denying that. Never said they were the same type of player but that doesn't matter either since there are different styles to any role. They're still both CAMs... You could always try and hope some combination sticks (because they're both a bit versatile) but it very obviously is a luxury we can't afford and shouldn't entertain. Yildiz is one of the very few certainties in the squad. Build a platform around him, buy a star in a different position.

That's exactly what I was referring too... Modric -age aside- would be a better match imho. But it's also perfectly understandable to welcome any champion vet.

If we have money to sign Osimhen, it's better we go for David plus lucca/krstovic and angelo stiller instead

2 quality talent plus 1 squad player is better than just 1 quality player that have obstacle like AFCON

Beside that, i'm worried if we sign Osimhen we will penny pinching in other signings, or forced to sell cambiaso or/and yildiz
