Just a wild guess. We don't have a left footed CB bar Kelly and Cabal so somehow I see him starting many games.

I just don't see us being able to afford a top striker this summer and the striker market sucks right now imo.

javier gil and turicchia are both left footed, just give either to conte and they'll turn into prime barzagli in half a season ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

there are shades between top striker and hojlund though. hojlund must be avoided. just get either esposito then. or both lol

I don't think the Osimhen rumors make much sense. If we manage to take Conte away from De Laurentis, I really doubt he’d also let Osimhen join Juve. I think he'd rather sell him to another club for 20-30 million less than see both Conte and Osimhen leave Napoli for Juventus in the same transfer window.

Yeah he does. Both are best as CAMs / attacking playmakers.
Our own void of attacking plethora made us misuse Yildiz in a different set of roles. It's better as an SS (which KDB has also done a few times for Belgium) but not quite right either even if he's less of a runner. One of the reasons our attack is still toothless with having only one true attacker up top. And fuck 3-5-2.
It's not that you couldn't field both but it would be far from ideal since they occupy a lot of the same spaces. Modric would be a much better fit naturally.

Don't want either 'though. Leaders don't have to be fossils.

Come on, clearly you have never watched KDB. He is like the closest thing to an old school playmaker you can get nowadays. Amazing passing from everywhere and a eye for goal from distance. Yildiz is nothing of the sort.
