Olivier Letang, #Lille president: "Edon #Zhegrova will stay with us this season. I have received any offers. There is no agreement nor ongoing negotiations. I know Damien #Comolli really well and we spoke on many occasions since he took on the role at #Juventus. There were some exchanges a few weeks ago, the door was maybe a bit more open back then, but today my position is clear: Edon stays"

[Mirko Nicolino]
Letang is some president. He expressed his regret od not accepting a 20m offer in winter for Edon, then a month ago he says he is open to sell him, and now he is closing the door again. I wouldn't say its over, he is obviously looking for a winger to replace him but hasn't found one yet.

I start this season with low expectation, maybe even lower than that first season with Del Neri when i saw what squad we have.

Thank you JJ

I really think that this club doesn't respect its fans at all. Not that all other clubs do, but this one i think it hates its fan base
I’d ask for new owners but knowing our luck we’d end up with some fake sheikhs that would probably send the club to Serie C.

So I’ll just accept the status quo of the uninterested and distant Elkann instead.

I think the financial reality is setting in. We simply can’t make too many big moves without selling players and unfortunately the ones we want to sell are not well sought after. Worst case you keep the squad as is and then next season Vlahovic’s contract expiry will free up a lot capacity.

we really don't help ourselves when we're selling the likes of Mbangula for way below his value, only to reinvest it into more shit assuming the Salaemakers story is anything to go by...

And seriously over paying for players like Kelly and over paying for the likes of Koop, Nico and DL. I still think DG was an unnecessary signing and we could have kept Perin until someone better became available.

JJ has created all of its own problems. The last 5 years have been a mess.

Nico Schira ——Atletico Madrid have offered Juventus €20m for Nico Gonzalez and have given the impression that they're not willing to increase their offer for the forward.
Juventus wants €30m, but would be willing to accept a small discount. They know that Nico already has an agreement with Atletico.

LMAO. Surpriseeeeeee

I just hope we bring Kolo back, hopefully under 45M and without a last day panic buy like Rabiot. I’ve given up on other signings or selling deadwood.

My expectations couldn’t be lower. I’m ready to suffer through this season, so come at me lion.

Seriously... and people had faith in Comical comolli? like a week left of the mercato and quite literally fuck all is happening in regards to inbound transfers.
There were people who had faith in Paratici. Some still have faith in him. I know I know, I'm just as shocked as you are.

I was sceptical, but seeing how much you hate on him, I'm convinced Comolli is gonna be just fine eventually. Thanks.
