Gazzetta reports that Granit Xhaka (32) has been linked with a move to Juventus. Leverkusen would need an offer exceeding €15 million to consider letting him go.

The link arises from Juventus’ search for a midfielder with Xhaka’s profile, but as of yesterday, there had been no contact between the clubs.

15 mill for a 32 year old, fuck right off, we'd be lucky to get that sort of money selling someone in their early 20s with alot of promise

We're bringing in some experienced players, that's for sure.

A friend of mine is telling me that Comolli is fascinated by Marotta and his work at Juve. He considers Conte, Barzagli, Pirlo and Vidal key signings for the start of winning era from 2011.

That is why he confirmed Tudor. He sees him as Lippi's "pupil", similar profile to Conte.

He considers David as the type of free signing and experienced player that will bring, not only goals, but balance to the team. Something like Barzagli did.

When it comes to Vidal type of player, he's looking at some guy from Tottenham and some guy from Strasbourg. Can't remember the names.

And finally Pirlo. That one similar signing should have been Tonali. Comolli still isn't giving up and is playing on the home country comeback card, but it's almost impossible to get him.

If he’s so fascinated why does he bring the Temu Version of Conte and co?

What’s next contract renewal with adimas or Nyke?

Yes it still fascinates me to this day how we sold a world class Vidal for 30 mill and replaced him with an inter bench warmer in Hernanes and some Venezualan waste gash in Rincon.

I think we badly lack leaders and experience in the squad.

I can't comment on whether Xhaka is the right player quality wise (I really haven't seen him much but looked good for Switzerland when I have seen them). But I don't have a problem with adding an older player to the squad, particularly in midfield if the price is not too high because they can improve the mentality of the team. I still think Modric in a free for a year would have been a good move.

I don't know bro. What my friend also told me is that Juve has become such an unhealthy environment (almost as cursed as ManU), that some of the coaches and players are avoiding us. They don't want to sign for us. A no flies straight to our face in the first call we make these days. Also there is lot of money in Arab countries and many quality players and coaches are moving there, even in their best years. This is something that didn't happen that often before and we were able to sign players like Tevez.

My friend is a former Drughi but lives in France now. He knows a lot about the club, the people and inside operations. When Conte was our captain he used to sit with them fans in Turin pubs. Amazing times.

He also said that Comolli has a weird modus operandi, unlike other directors. It's not just data obsession, but obsession in history, like patterns and shit. He's also a maniac when it comes to tracking quality people and he works a lot, basically a workaholic like Paratici.

Well I just wanna throw it out there, that I dont have a fucking clue how Comolli will do, but i hang on hope and my hairy sweaty balls that he turns out good.
He would do better at a mid table/smaller club but it worries me that he was a failure at Liverpool having bought alot of shit, I mean who am I kidding here? He's an elklown appointment, when has he ever done anything right for the club?

We either sign shit players or we sign old farts. One does not exclude the other, though. It's just incredible.

Where is the old farts? We need more of them more like. Our oldest players are like 26 joined from mid level clubs.

Like Boksic said, we could use more experience that could have leadership roles in this team. Calm things down when they go haywire. Its why I was advocating for De Bruyne singing. When most of your team is early to mid 20s, it doesn't hurt to add a older top experienced name to guide them.
