He has 9m gross at PSG which is 5m net in France. I would assume we will keep the same salary which with the tax law will be around 7m gross
Hmm, maybe a bit much for my liking. He hasn't been a regular starter there so he shouldn't stay on the same wage but not ridiculous.

As long as the wages are decent.

Wow, PSG paid 36m for him?

I actually liked him at Roma and thought he was okay at Zenit. Admittingly, I didn't watch much of him at Zenit. I haven't watched much Zenit since Arshavin was there (dating myself). Cannot believe he went to PSG and immediately was playing less than 20 matches per year.

What can you say. He’s just that good.
I think more like PSG just buy players to buy players. But hey, who knows. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Wouldn't be the first time a player left a rich club with a wealth of unused players and that player put up good numbers.

Usually it happens to EPL clubs. I guess PSG is in that EPL level of spending No Fucks money.

It’s clear we were misled with the Dusan signing in January. We have no immediate funds available for another outlay in reality. Back to the Marotta days of loan with option to buy. Except these options now are obligations and incoming utility players are on bigger wages.

True

Draxler, Krchwiak, Gini, etc

Personally, I Can’t wait for the club to pay him €5m+ and see his name on the J-medical injury list. Another phase of the project successfully completed

I don't think he's necessarily an injury risk. Time will tell.

You never know. But if this gets Locatelli out of the regista role, I'm all for it. And this should do that. An unlocked Locatelli would be nice to have.

Why do you keep saying this? Based on his Euro 2020 Italy performance? Because he played as a deep lying playmaker for Sassuolo under De Zerbi and played exceptionally well in the role which is a big part of why we bought him. He also played quite well in the role here up until his injury last year. He’s not performing at the moment, but that is in large part due to this team being a complete mess.

Of course it’s fine to think he’d be even better played further forward, but let’s stop pretending he’s never played deep before and performed well at it. That’s nonsense.
He wasn't the deeper of the two CMs at Sassuolo. He was the one who ran forward, the more advanced of the two.

I remember asking why he was being branded a regista when he was the second CM at Sassuolo. Regista is a secondary role for him.

we asked for Renan Lodi on loan with obligation but Atletico want to sell now. - Agresti and Momblano
How much does Atletico want, isn't he expensive?
